I grew up watching notoriously bad teams in the 70's, when Dave Kingman was one of the few highlights...and tics were $5. This team is worse, I understand trimming albatross payroll but at some point you have to replace talent with a few FA's. You can't charge these prices, then expect fans to be patient for God knows how long when they have already done so for over a century.
Considering the length of the season ticket wait list and how well Wrigley's been selling so far this season...yes, they can charge these prices, and yes, they will get away with it while the team rebuilds.
