I understand Shark doing well but they acting like he untouchable. Not like this a 23 or 24 yr old. He is 27. So by the time they good in 4-5 yrs he be 32+. I could see them dealing him in the next couple years for specs.

the reason they don't trade him right now is because other gm's prolly don't give up as high of a price for smardzija now while he's still unproovent. it is the same with lahair. no gm is going to give up top prospects for a couple months of production.

also what shark he doesn't have the same arm as a normal 27 year old because he hasn't been pitching as long. so yes he will be up there when the cubs window open but I'll have the same mileage on his arm as many people 5 years younger than him does.

Buck and McCarver actually did a good job explaining why Ortiz failed. He was looking at the OF instead of just running and picking up his base coach.

BABIP frowns upon the Cubs, despite the Baker infield hit.

I can has multitask.

This is why pitchers are fail. They don't even bother to run out their infield groundouts. Samardzija could literally walk over to Lester and slap him with his glove. That was fail.

Theo on the phone:

Telling a GM: " You want to give me a bag of balls for Soriano while we pay 99% of the contract? DEAL"
