Tom Brady had something like 10 drops this weekend .... EVERY QB deals with drops. So lets move on from the poor Jay routine, its old and worn out.

What the **** are you talking about? I'm the last one who would start a "poor Jay routine."

My point was Marshall disappoints in clutch situations and that was a devastating drop that could have potentially won us a playoff game against the Pack. I just find it funny that it's never talked about because yes, if Jay missed it, it would be talked about for 20 years. Marshall gets his numbers, but he is known to drop a lot of important balls at critical times. This has nothing to do with Jay. I'm not a fan of his nor am I a "hater."

This is so true. Peppers is washed up. Melton is lazy. Hester washed up. Urlacher is an ass. Webb will never play another down.

LMFAO. Aside from Peppers, which of those have been proven not true?

lollll

That was a hailmary. No shit it was a pic, you really need to stop with the Jay hate,

I remember Cutler also threw it up perfectly for Jeffery that would've been a first down 2 series before that, that would've likely won the Bears the game.

Marshall dropping that pass that literally hit him in the numbers was something noone really cares to remember.

It wouldn't have been a TD, it would have put the ball on the 25? Sucked because if Cutler hits him in stride (instead of being low and forced Marshall to slide if I remember correctly), Marshall may have run OOB around the 15ish.

Marshall should have caught that ball. No way around that. And if he does, it would have given us a much better chance to score. You have to come up with that in that situation. Bottom line. Marshall often gets the dropsies in big moments.

I know it was a hailmary. The Marshall drop was right before this play.

The hailmary was ill advised.

You said you remembered it ...except you didn't!

Good work. You continue to be wrong about everything.

I'm not "hating" on Jay. Jay threw a hail mary when he didn't have to. Pretty simple.

It hit him right in the chest, whether or not he slid it literally hit him right in the chest. No excuses.

I never said it was a TD, i said it would have set up the Bears for a TD.

OH well, Marshall is gone and 6 is still under center.

Boo hoo FT, U mad Cutty gonna lead Bears to playoffs this season?

You:
"That would've likely tied or won the game."

:aj:

You know what else would have set them up for one?

Cutler using the 10 seconds and one timeout the Bears had to get the Bears closer and then taking another shot.

Why is this turning into a Marshall vs Jay thing?

Marshall dropped a ball he should have caught. That's really the main point.

Melton is still better than what they had when they let him walk, he got 5 sacks for Dallas. Hester had a good year with Atlanta.Webb is a starter for Oakland and also started a game in MN.

The point is not that the guys were great. The point is that the homers downgrade every single ex Bear for no logical reason.

Yes, it would've. Likely doesn't mean that play. I meant it in context of being in red zone.

He also made a hell of a play earlier in the game when 6 put the ball up where only Marshall could get it. That was awesome

Every thread is a Jay thread this one just took a little longer.

Pace took it in the ass on the Marshall trade. A fucked up start to a GM career that can only get better. It better get better.

Talent wise, absolutely. A 6th rounder rarely pans out. But what did John Fox say? He wants super bowlers. Not pro bowlers.
