Say what you will about Bruce; opinions are opinions. But if you've never been to a Bruce concert, you don't know how fucking legendary the Boss is. You could never hear a Bruce song in your life and still have a great fucking time at one of his concerts.

No, you're right. I mean, look at Bob Dylan, who made a career out of it as well.

I think people who heard these guys in the 60's were so stoned out of their mind that you could have a blender on stage and put a guitar in front of it, and they would have called it music.

Not a Dylan fan? I don't think his concerts would be all that great; from the Youtube videos I've seen, he would forget his words a lot, and everyone there would be high... but I would still argue that his early work in the 60s makes Dylan the greatest lyricist of all time. Not to mention, Dylan was a total badass when it came to talking with the press.

I saw Dylan, Mellencamp and Willie in a minor league baseball stadium a couple years ago. Great show. But you are right, Dylan is kind of flat. I did like Willie though, Dude killed it!
