So what exactly is this teams fucking problem? I haven't been seeing too many goals resulting for nice passing plays, all greasy goals. Our defense needs something, because this inconsistency is going to cost them early in the playoffs.

I think there are some issues with defensive depth on this team, for sure. But I still don't look at this roster and see something that's broken beyond repair.
Everyone's prone to overreaction when dealing with sports these days. I think a large part of this is a significant number of players on this team are hitting a horrific stretch of hockey at the same time.

Smith-Krueger-Hartman
I would like to see Sharp center the second line from here on out (if were not going to pick up Vermette, or another center, etc.). Sharp played center and was 2 for 2 on draws during a two minute 4 on 4 last game. He can play the position (see 2010). Q should just tell him you're playing center on the second line until further notice. Richards can center the third line Between Bickell and Shaw, and if it's a game where we need some grit, Carbomb can play on the 4th line and Hartman can move up to the 3rd line or Krueger can center the 3rd and Smith the 4th.
Playing center might also shake Sharp out of his 5-on-5 funk this season (3 goals).
...Of course our D has fuckin sucked tonight!

The coaching staff gives less **** than the players.
Q putting Sharp at center is fucking LOL. If he hasn't done it in the last 4 years it's never happening. And that's ALL on Q. Multiple quotes from Sharp saying he would 100% go back there if asked.
The bottom six on this team is fucking useless and has been all year.
