Anything under 6 feet is not only short, it's **historically short**.

Depending on what happens at the combine, Bryce Young could very well be *the* shortest highly-ranked quarterback this century if he's, say, 5-foot-10 flat, or less than 5'10''-and-a-half.

That said, I'm not buying it will hurt his draft prospects. Someone will be willing to take him, and take him very high---maybe #1; we'll see. You guys know how GMs operate---At least a few of those QB-needy teams toward the top of the draft will fall in love with this guy. That's just how it works.

That said, there's nothing in Bryce Young's profile that leads me to think NFL teams think of him as somehow greater than Michael Vick, Andrew Luck and Trevor Lawrence were coming out of school. The best QB prospect in decades? Color me skeptical.

I'm hoping the Seahawks trade for him so he can go to a good team where he won't have a Joe Burrow/RG3 injury but man this dude is special, injury concerns is really his only real concern.

I love everything about him besides his size and although he doesn't have great arm strength it's plenty good enough with the football IQ that he has.

He'd die behind Bears offensive line but I think Justin Fields is a potential top five QB in the NFL.

Luckily we won't have the same OL after this offseason.

Young seems to possess Mahomes-like qualities, and unteachable abilities in terms of reads, progressions, and field awareness. If he miraculously measures near or at 6'0" then the bears would have a pretty tough decision, but I don't see Fields ever being close to the field general as a passer that Young could potentially reach. Like others have said if not for size, Young would be a "can't miss," generational prospect.
