Slightly different prospect this time, going to look at a shooter

Duke's Kon Knueppel, 6'7 215lb wing

Strengths: Elite shooter, shoots 40% from 3 on 5 3PA/game behind Cooper Flagg. Also shoots a respectable 47% from the field and 90% from the line, excellent efficiency. Can shoot off the dribble or spot up or on the move. Doesn't get tunnel vision, has good basketball IQ overall, pretty low turnover player.

Weaknesses: Athleticism, length. Not a particularly quick or explosive player. Obvious defensive implications here, as well as shot creation questions at the NBA level

Pros for the Bulls: Someone who can be a complementary piece on offense, knock down shots and make smart plays. Bulls style fits his offensive strengths. With Coby and Giddey as your primary playmakers, you don't need him to create offense, so you don't have to worry about that potential weakness as much. Assuming he can continue his shooting prowess at the NBA level, you get a cheaper, younger Kevin Huerter type player at worst.

Cons: Again, defensively there are stereotypical questions here, is he someone that you just need to hide all the time? He will give effort, but ultimately might still be a player that gets picked on because Bulls like to switch. If the shot doesn't carry over, probably not a ton he will give you, unless the other areas of his game rise to the occasion.

Draftnet's NBA comp is Jared Dudley which to me is wtf lol. I see a lot of Kevin Huerter in his game myself based on the few clips I saw, but with a bit more shot creation ability (post a smaller guard, get a shot off in the midrange, etc). I doubt he ends up just a catch and shoot guy, but that's probably his floor. High floor, not too high a ceiling type player. Imo, he'll find a way to contribute

Projected somewhere in the 7-12 range

This video probably does a good job diving into his game

Along the same lines, gotta bring up UConn's Liam McNeeley. 6'7 210lb wing

Strengths: Supposed to be a good shooter (his college shooting stats suck though), decent rebounder for his size, ability to pass, general basketball IQ/self aware player. Moves/cuts well.

Weaknesses: Same as Knueppel, but a lot more questions on his off the dribble game. Dip in shooting percentages in college compared to HS is concerning considering his reputation as a shooter.

Pros for the Bulls: If his shooting returns to him, another guy who generally plays within himself and gives effort on both ends. Another who who will make the right play/be in the right spot.

Cons: If his shooting falters, he'll probably bust out of the league because most likely, his weaknesses will get too exploited at the NBA level.

Based on the scouting reports I've seen, he's not as good as Knueppel in basically every facet except rebounding, despite a kinda similar sounding scout report. Those of you who actually watch college basketball could probably tell me otherwise.

Draftnet comp: Corey Kispert

Projected in the mid lotto
