For the record. I think Bickell's name should be on the cup. I'm also biased since I got to bowl with him in Rockford.

I'm just surprised the "names of 29 front office personnel" on the Cup didn't include "John McDonough" repeated 28 times.

Does anybody know if its standard practice for all cup winning teams to put every Tom, McDICK and Harry's name from the front office on the cup?

Bickell nets first Hawks goal of the new season. It doesn't make up for not being on the Cup, but it helps!

I'm not going to far into it, but another source with the NHL (works for the NHL) relayed to me that Stan Bowman was very disapppointed Bickell was not on the cup and that the chance exists that his name could be placed on.



Also again verified that there are no rules other than team affiliation as to being on the cup and the team has the final say unless they try to list a non affiliated person then the NHL can and will overrule, seveal players were given to me as examples the most recent was I believe a Carolina player who is on the cup who only played 6 regular season games with them that year and is on the cup.

The names on the Cup had to pass Scooter's desk for proofing, unless McD took that over......
