My opinion about Howard to the Bulls

Honestly I´m not a big fan of trading for Dwight.

Don´t get me wrong, he´s an amazing player and he would help a lot. But his price is just too high. It would cost almost half of the team.

We would have to give up Noah, Deng, Gibson, Asik and onother player to match saleries for Howard and Turkoglu (who the Magic want to get rid of, so he´s part of the deal 4 sure). I don´t think they would take Boozer. And I definitely want NO part of Turkoglu! After this the Bulls wouldn´t even have money to sign Hamilton!

We would lose all of our depth plus Howard is expensive as hell. Rose will have to get paid, too. Don´t forget that.

With a lineup of:

Howard, ???
Boozer, ???
Turkoglu, Butler
???, Brewer, Korver
Rose, Watson

you have to fill in three ??? instead of one like it is now. That would need a couple of years again.

Also Dwight is a walking foul machine. If he is out who plays for us???

I believe 48 minutes of Noah + Asik plus Gibson at PF ,Deng at SF and Hamilton at SG are better than 35 minutes of Rose + Howard plus alone! The Bulls have by far the best frontcourt bench and I don´t wanna miss them plus 2 guys from our starting lineup.

That´s just too much to ask for imo. I would give them Noah, Boozer and Mirotic but no way I would give them Deng, too! Bulls would be screwed at SF against James. Only other SF defending well would be Iguodala but would we get him???

I would rather wait a year and take a shot at guys like Eric Gordon. We have couple of expiring guys like Brewer, Korver then.

Howard is gr8 but he doesn´t match with our team.

That´s just my opinion.

Read tweets by KC Johnson, Dwight does not want to be a Chicago Bull.

He's an idiot then.

It's cool because I enjoy my team beating his and Rose besting him for MVP more than I would like him on the squad.

Assuming no third team was involved to sweeten the deal:

tradeMachine

After that:

Dwight Howard, ?
Taj Gibson, ?
Hedo Turkoglu, Ronnie Brewer, Jim Butler
Rip Hamilton, J.J. Redick, Kyle Korver
Derrick Rose, C.J. Watson

The main thing the Bulls would need to do after that is get rid of either Redick or Korver and/or Ronnie Brewer (for another SF and maybe some picks) and sign some big men for the veteran's minimum.

And, after this season, amnesty slash Hedo Turkoglu and try to inherit some more cap-space.

Taj Gibson would be in the deal IMO and Nikola Mirotic would be in as well.

I watched Mirotic put up 20pts in the first 5mins of a euroleague game the other day he would be a must if I am the Magic GM.

Dwight Howard is the best big man in the game by a wide margin he has more value IMO than any other player.

Also you cant amnesty Hedo only the Magic could. You can only amnesty a guy who was on your roster at the time the lockout ended.

We are not getting Howard. LA will likely get Howard. We have good young talent, but both Taj & Omer are due for extensions soon. Noah & Deng are good, but do you really build a franchise around 2 fringe all-stars who are owed $100mill combined over the next 5yrs? I just don't see it happening.

Doesn't mean they'll get him. But guarantee #Bulls would pay luxury tax to land Dwight Howard.

Honestly if Dwight wanted to come here I guarantee they would be aggressive as hell to try and land him...

Put Dwight is a pussy and is scared that Drose will steal all the fire from him

Assuming Howard is interested in coming to Chicago and assuming the Bulls are able to acquire him, I am not sure why anyone would not want him to come here.

Yeah, we would lose some players, but in my opinion, those players are "good". Howard is a dynamic, game-changing type player, much like the current point guard on the team. If you have a chance to get these types of players, you do it.

Are we done talking about this yet? Howard will not be a Bull. He has no interest in being apart of our team. That's too bad. Cause him & Rose would be great. Enjoy Brooklyn, LA or staying in Orlando D12.

We can always wait to see in KD wants to come to Chicago to join his good buddy Rose in the future. :D

There r only 4 teams Dwight Howard would sign longterm with - Orl, NJ, LAL, Dal - source says. Rules out a possible DRose-D12 duo in CHI

Idk wtf the issue is but it's unfortunate bc the Bulls obviously have the trading pieces. I hope something changes. Adidas needs to just pitch a gigantic shoe campaign to the both of them that would be a nice incentive.

I just wish there was an explanation out there to why CHI isnt on his list. Its gotta have to do with Rose.

Honestly at this point i would make the trade anyways, even without the guarantee of an extension. Show them what a combo they would make and how dominant of a D he could be with Thibs and the rest.

It is with all Chicago sports though, Chicago's best off season transaction that actually made a difference, was the Jay Cutler trade and the Julius Peppers pick up. Other than that Chicago really doesn't go after big free agent pick ups. The Bulls last pick up was Carlos Boozer and even though it doesn't hurt having him, it isn't that great that he is the big storied pick up for the Bulls since Rodman.

He's jelly?

Can't think of any other sensible reason. Rose and Howard would get us past Miami and probably to multiple titles. He probably knows that. Imagine what kind of things Adidas could do marketing wise.

I think they would struggle the first year but when you have the best PG and C in the league, i dont see why other players wont run to play for CHI like they do to play in Miami. We'd most likely still have Boozer as well. Its not the biggest of big 3s but its still a very talented trio and youd have Hedu too. I read Howard was upset that the Magic didnt trade for Ellis, we've got D-Rose...idk. The Bulls need to request a serious talk with him and give him some kind of 5 year plan and give the dude whatever he wants. Rose needs to get on board and just kiss ass. If winning means that much to him, he'll do it. Ego needs to be left at the door.

It doesn't have anything to do with Rose, cmon dude. Howard is best buds with D-Will which is why NJ is on there. Kobe is Kobe, that's why LA is on there. And Dallas, just won the title, have Dirk, & Cuban (a superstar's dream boss).

Anyways, we aren't getting Dwight so it really doesn't matter.
