Good win for the Bulls, the least they can do is split the season series with Benny G's Pistons.

The Bulls may have short term problems with their need for a consistently production four, and a spot up shooter. But the Pistons are a team that will have short and long term problems with their roster if some type of trade isn't made to balance them out.

On a side note, the Bulls will end 2009 in the 7th spot in the Eastern Conference.

Bulls look like they have quite the productive four in Tyrus Thomas.

Pistons will be interesting to watch. The Charlie Villanueva signing will probably hurt them for awhile. Dead contract weight. They also need to start Gordon and just turn the team over to him and Stuckey, and build towards the future. Not only are Hamilton and Prince selfish ballhogs, but they both suck now too.

That Stuckey-Gordon backcourt doesn't seem like it will work to me. They need a defensive point guard to stop penetration. That's why the Hinrich-Gordon backcourt work so great as Hinrich provided the defense and outside shooting while Gordon did the scoring

I wouldn't say Hamilton and Prince suck, they've just been injured. Hamilton's contract always was a stupid idea though. I don't think Charlie V is dead contract weight, if anything he's the reason the Pistons have won as many games as they have. It's no coincidence that his slump has coincided with the Piston's losing streak.

I was thinking more of a guy that can score at least 18 ppg, give the team at least 8 rebounds rpg, and shoot at a higher percentage than Thomas is capable of doing. I like Thomas, but I think he'd be the perfect backup power forward to give a team a spark off the bench.
