My favorite teams
Six years ago I would've been ecstatic. Now? I feel its a dumbshit move. I would rather trade Butler and blew this shit up.
well Paxson finally got Wade
this also opens the door for CP3 next season with him and Wade being good buddies. thats what i feel this move is based on...next years FA class...Wade/Butler is intriguing to potential FA's and we'll have the money
still surreal they finally got off their ass and made some stuff happen especially with how bleak the future was in last years dumpster fire...im surprised we got anyone at all
This makes zero sense! We got older, shittier and poorer???
All that I can say is that is Reinny at his best and worst. Its all about tickets and nothing else. This team will be marginally better than last years team for the next two seasons. Maybe they will be a 47-35 team and maybe win in the first round. Its going to be a train wreck in the making with both Rondo and Wade coming into Butler's team. And Freddie as a head coach.
All that being said, this is going to be the Bulls starting line-up next season:
Rondo -- PG
Wade -- SF/SG
Butler -- SF/SG
Lopez -- C
PF -- Mirotic
Hate this team all that you and I will but that team has a good amount of talent on it along with some talent on the bench who can develop. That team will maybe win 47-50 games next year unless someone blows their cork which is certainly possible.
Did you just call wade a sf/sg? He is a combo guard if anything.
Get rid of two beat up former all-stars, sign two beat up former all-stars.
I'm not entirely sure the Bulls do any better this year than last. 14th pick here we come again!
The key is Rondo. He will be better in the backcourt than Rose.
This is far from guaranteed. I think it'll be a close wash...but with better chemistry/energy all across the board. Rondo's offensive ineptitude will definitely frustrate the hell out of a lot of fans, as will his defense...but the guy is one of the brightest in the game, and if he runs the offense like he can, it will probably slightly outweigh all of his deficiencies.
This is such a Chicago Bulls thing. We've been clamoring that they never sign shit, then they go and do this offseason.
Like a wife complaining that her husband never takes her anywhere nice, so he takes her to the Olive Garden. She'll eat, but she won't be happy.
