I think Rose was pumped for the contest too because he seemed to be better on defense tonight than he has been. I don't think he likes the Rondo comparisons either.

How about Rose FINALLY getting foul calls? I think that was the 2nd best part of tonight behind beating the Celtics. This just made my week. Boozer was a monster out there and was just killing Big Baby. And if Ronnie Brewer isn't made the starter sometime soon, someone needs to injure Bogans. And Rose...just wow. Lone thing missing in his stat line is his usual assists, but he was doing it all himself out there tonight. Great game.

in spite of not having a great shooting touch, ronnie brewer is a great fit for this team. he's a very efficient 4/5 option. he plays great defense. he has amazing intangibles. have i mentioned his amazing defense?

Rondo's nothing but an assist whore. To be honest, Earl Boykins is better than him. Good game by the Bulls after losing to two terrible ass teams. Brewer needs to start ASAP, James Johnson needs to see some minutes or the Bulls should trade him because obviously they aren't using him and he's talented, Korver needs to come in earlier for Deng.

Boykins is better than Rondo? Hell No...
James Johnson is talented, but he is not too bright, that is why he doesn't play. His basketball I.Q. is not very high right now. Deng is a far superior player to Korver on the defensive end. And Korver seems to make some of the same mistakes Deng makes at times when handling the ball.
People need to stop the homer b.s. too. Rondo is a stat whore....what about the statue out in front of the stadium???

great win by The Bulls. Again and Again Brewer is proving that he is a starter material for this team. Drose getting a lot of fouls tonight. That's how you do it, get to the FT line and force them in early foul trouble.
However I must say that the Bulls must improve their FT shooting. This will help them a lot specially in the playoffs.

He is comparing the thought that Rondo is a statistical whore to the fact that Jordan could be seen as a statistical whore as well.So the resident Rondo defender is saying Rondo = Jordan now?
So I suppose the next question would be: Why is it alright for Jordan to score as many points as he wants, but Rondo can't rack up as many assists as he wants?

I mean if it has to do with that, I guess I could understand - because he killed the Bulls in a couple games. But ya know, he is probably the perfect fit for that team, and he is a good player. No matter anyway you slice it, he plays well and plays hard.
