HUGE win for the Bulls. We NEED to resign Ben Gordon!

And I just wanted to mention that it's pretty obvious we're gonna need to go out and grab a PF either this year or next year. Tyrus Thomas is just not a good basketball player.

Gordon has unbelievable clutch. What a great win this is.

Imagine if they lost it...what a dagger would that be.

But, thank god BG is here so who cares about "what ifs"

First off, I'm just so pleased the team is getting to play such meaningful games, quarters, and minutes this season. It didn't look like that was going to happen, but it means a lot for the development of Rose and of the team in general. My main point is definitely that I love the effort. The Bulls played with great effort during this game, scrapping as you would want for a pivotal playoff game. Noah (mostly), but even Kirk, Ben and John made game changing plays largely out of hustle and not quitting on plays. That said, the team is so lucky their god-awful free throw shooting and massive mental errors in the 4th didn't cost them the game, specifically the defensive lapse that gave Allen the 3 and the unbelievable flap Tyrus made by not passing the ball to a guard after the o-board.

Who else finds it extremely surprising that former champs need this much overtimes to deal with a .50 team like Bulls?

Yeah...

This game had a little bit of everything.

I'm so glad the Bulls responded and played 1,000,000 x better then game 3.

Both teams deserved to win and lose!

Tyrus, you nitwit, get the ball to a guard when you have the opportunity to ice the game.

Took Hinrich a while, but I thought he made a terrific positive impact on this game.

Gordon should have used both hands to grab his balls after that game tying three because that shot took some huge cojones!

Rose started rough, made a ton of bad turnovers, but overall I thought he played well and did a decent job on Rondo. The Bulls even started to play some better pick and roll defense on Rondo late in the game.

Miller was ok. That Tech was boneheaded since he let Davis bait him into it, but he wasn't terrible.

And thankfully Salmons showed up. Shot 5/14, but still had 20 points and was 9/9 in free throw attempts. He was easily our best late game free throw shooter.

Noah played great.

Can the Celtics win the series by just hitting clutch threes? The law of averages has to be in the Bulls favor there.

*raises hand

This Boston team still has a potent offense, but their defense is what has dropped off, enormously, since KG got injured.

Also, these playoffs may be the best thing that could have ever happened to Tyrus. He needs to learn from some of the boneheaded sh*t he's done so that he can improve going forward. I hope to christ we are able to package him with some picks and expirings for bosh or amare. Noah has really come into his own and is definitely a keeper.

KG is done.

I mean - I like him, I grew up watching him forever destroying the ethics of NBA contracts, with his 127, right after Big Dog pulled first 100 mil contract.

And I like Ray Allen, probably because he has the most beautiful shot in the league.

But, in all honesty, Boston crept trough Playoffs last year, and they're one year older now, plus KG is over, so...

By "KG is over" I mean even if he returns, he will never be the same KG we know, he'll decline after this injury with great speed annually.

i guess im the only one but i feel very blah about this game.

Gordon took over late yet he was predictably selfish during the first OT.

Hinrich made some very good plays, but his free throw shooting and spotty shooting from the field helped us fine that hole we were in.

God only knows that Tyrus Thomas was thinking not getting the ball to his pg with less than 24 seconds to go in regulation.

At least Rose seemed as aggressive as he could be. He took what Boston was giving him. Which is honestly a big step up from what we saw in game 2 and 3 b/c he didn't take anything.

Salmons didn't chuck up shots...that was a HUGE plus, imo.

And we got the W in double OT...lets go back to Boston and steal another one...

i dont get why anyone would be surprised at how tough this series has been for Boston. Like i said in a different thread this is an evenly matched series talent wise with MAYBE Chicago having the slight edge. The 2 guys you think would be killing us aren't. It's the depleted front court and their young pg. But if the Bulls play well and execute like they did for the final 5 minutes of this game, they can easily give this Boston squad a run for it's money.

I missed most of the game - what did Tyrus do by not passing to Rose? Fill me in on what happened? How did Tyrus play overall? I can't stand watching him. No brains whatsoever.

Right now I try to come down a bit.

It was a great game. I´m so happy the Bulls finally made it.

We have to keep Ben Gordon. If we not sign him again I will swim to Chicago and tell Paxson some words.

I liked Captain Kirk and Noah. They had a lot of great plays.

Rose had a good night in my eyes. Not his best, but still very good with some tough layups.

One thing I´m asking myself is. WHY IS RONDO GETTING SO MANY REBOUNDS? Especially offensive rebounds. I don´t know the number of tonights game but in the whole series he gets too many I think. Rondo is a good PG no question, but right now he seems to look better than he really is.

Like 25 seconds left in regulation and Bulls up 2 he got a rebound and just stood there with the ball waiting for a foul. He clanked 1 of 2 and Allen hit the 3 to tie it.

Tyrus played just an awful game today.

I'm just trying to calm down from this game too. I was going nuts. I had an empty house so I could scream and yell as much as I wanted.

Unreal game. BG was driving me nuts on some plays, but then he hits that three. Rose was awesome in the 4th. Tyrus still takes jumpers at bad times. I don't mind if he takes them, but not when the Celtics have momentum and you need to stop it with a solid offensive possession.

Just one of the best Bulls playoff games I've ever seen. Great game.

salmons is being a ball hog often times in the game.

he needs to distribute the ball more.

Yeah but I ask myself what your neighbours would have said if the Refs had called a foul on Salmons on that last shot. :p
