Whoa lets all calm down here. Yes Gordon needs to be signed, but we could have very easily lost that game, he took some bad shots. And yes the bad shots he took were that bad, if he turned it over 1 more time or missed one shot the Bulls lose. Yes if we don't sign him and keep this team we will be in trouble, he is the only guy other than Rose that teams are really scared about. But until Rose is the one with the ball and Gordon is just spotting up the Bulls will lose the majority of games like this because Ben is a Black Hole and doesn't pass once he dribbles. Salomons is no where near Larry Hughes that is just crazy, he played great defense every game this series, no probs with Salmons. Oh and Salmons hit the foul shots that KIrk and Ben couldn't. And Tim Thomas better not get on the court as a Bull ever again he is just the worst, he is Larry Hughes. And Tyrus gets defended because of his upside and the plays that he makes that no one else can do. I am sorry but I wouldn't be so quick to trade him, wait, he is leading the entire league in blocks during the playoffs, I don't know but I like seeing a Bull at the top of some leader board again.

What a game. The ups and downs were amazing. I was exhausted at the end.
It was an experience to be at the UC for this one. I literally yelled and cheered the entire game. Salmons was TERRIBLE offensively early on, but he hit those clutch free throws- more than I can say for many of the Bulls ( Kirk- what was that?) Ben Gordon- once again saves us. He has ice in his veins and I loved his emotion with Noah in the overtime. At the start of the season, who would ever have thought the UC Crowd would be chanting "Noah... Noah" Good to see him come through with all those blocks and rebounds in the clutch.
Tyrus Thomas is so talented but if only he had a brain!! What was he thinking with that foul on Ray Allen with 3 free throws, and dribbling the ball instead of giving it to Rose to get fouled. I was wondering if national TV heard the whole UC chanting "Bullsh*t" after the Miller incident. That got the crowd going for sure!
I am so glad I picked up a couple tix for game 6. Can't wait to do it all over again. Let's hope the Bulls can steal another one in Boston.
Did anyone notice Vinny's timeout at the end of the 1st half with hardly any time on the clock. What was that? Did he forget he could't advance the ball?

Oh and 7 turnovers for Rose were once again at least 3 of them were not his fault, I hate that if the man you are passing to drops the ball because he has stone hands then the person passing gets the turnover. One time Ben wanted to spot up for a three and Rose lead him perfectly for a layup instead and Ben just let the ball bounce out of bounds. Another 2 times Noah and Miller just dropped the ball. And I bet they counted that Rondo dive like a mad man and his head was on the out of bounds line so they gave the Bulls the ball back. Those really aren't bad turnovers.

That turnover where Ben lost it out of bounds was entirely on Rose. Rose made the pass wide right.

Well you could say that Rose should have known that Gordon wouldn't go to the rack, but 90% of all other guys cut to the hoop and take one step and a layup or a foul.

Awesome basketball game. I love the overall team balance we had today with all 7 players in double figures. Major props to Rose, Gordon,Hinrich,Salmons and Noah. That 5 especially were strong. The FT misses from Tyrus, Gordon and Hinrich were hard to watch but they gutted it out. Getting a win again in Boston won't be easy but if we are going to get one it will have to be in Game 5. I can't see us winning a game 7 in Boston. Tax or not I want to see this next season.

Rose 34 min,Hinrich 14 min
Gordon 34 min, Hinrich 14 min
Deng 20 min,Salmons 28 min
Amare or Bosh 36 min, Deng 12 min
Noah 28 min,Miller 20 min

Don't care what the rest of the roster is. If we can go to war with that 8 man group next year I firmly think we can win Eastern conference. Continued development of Rose, the clutch shooting of Gordon, a healthy Deng to give us more size on the perimeter and ability to go small with him at 4, Salmons in 6th man role at SG/SF which I think suits him perfectly, Hinrich and his defensive intensity, leadership at PG/SG, Noah and his continued development into a defensive center and finally a PF/C who can score at a high level and play with Rose in the pick and roll. It would be a devasting 8 man rotation. Pay the tax for one year to get it done.

That's just plain wrong. Hendu is right here. Rose led BG perfectly with a pass to the hoop and Ben didn't even make an effort to retrieve it. Even Van Gundy and Jackson agreed that pass was perfect and Ben misplayed it.

Rose does have bad turnovers and had some today as well. But he's a rookie, it's expected. I can live with 7 TO's if he's getting nearly a trip-dub in the process and we walk away with a W.

Not only getting a triple double but also playing 50+ minutes.

So, yeah... just waking up after a LONG nap from pure exhaustion. Mr. Doug Thonus himself took me as his guest ON THE FLOOR.

Amazing game. The game was surreal from that angle - very fast. But at least I got to yell at some of the players, and after all isn't that what it's all about?? :)
