I'm sure we've done this before, but Idgaf.

What cheese do you put on your burgers?

I got burger meat but forgot to grab cheese, so I gotta go back 2mow.

I typically just go Kraft Singles.

classic cheese made for a burger. normally I use the deli slice version instead. it tastes more fast foodish

Russia banned American cheese 10 years ago because its like plastic.

We shouldn’t eat that shit.

Blue cheese crumbles, mozzarella, aged Gouda , or whatever cheddar is on sale.

I find the white cheddar at Walmart is usually cheap, like $2.50 for 8 oz…

You have to use a knife and learn not to use too much, but aren’t we getting ready for war?

My opinion, smash burger or thin like patties. American cheese is the only way to go. Melt it all in those nook and crannies. Little just crusted spots. Its the perfect cheese for an all american burger. You going big daddies, thick like my woman. Your favorite kind of cheese freshly grated. No packaging. Melt on it of course but I love a good sharp cheddar, but my favorite mix would be sharp, mild, and colby. Its perfect.

I agree that thickness should determine cheese selection, and volume.

On a thick ass burger, I'd go with like 3 too. Maybe a sharp cheddar, a smokey gouda, and swiss? That would probably work.

I don’t mind the Kraft singles I’m not a cheese princess. My go to usually are the Sargent deli slices. Usually sharp slices sometimes provolone.

You know what's dank on a thicc burg? Cold pack cheese spread. Like merkts.

I had this one I got from Tim and Tom's (the place south of Mars cheese castle) that had beer and cayenne in it. Was sooooo good on a burg.

Hell, make some beer cheese and put that on your thicc burg.

I would suggest swiss or muenster if you want something other than kraft crap singles. They melt and do not suck on burgers.

Pretty much my thinking. Boar’s Head American cheese is our go to and a good blue cheese for a thick burger. Or Gouda or Swiss. Whatever the wife decides I want.
