still a buster
Good. Guy was garbage
Dunno about that. I thought Shelley looked awful last year. Vildor showed some promise though.Shelley should be able to take his spot
He had a terrible 2020. 78.1% completion rate against him and a 125.7 QB rating when targeting against him.nah. He really wasn’t. Just replaceable on a team against the cap

This brings me to a broader point about the defensive backfield: Kyle Fuller might be expendable. Doubt it happens when there is a general manager and head coach both fighting for their jobs, but Fuller probably fetches a second and the Bears could designate the trade post 6/1 for $11,000,000 in cap savings. I'm absolutely comfortable going into the season with Kindle Vildor and Jaylon Johnson as the starting cornerbacks.Shelley didn't look good, Vildor is an outside CB. Lots of decent nickels in FA this year.
Fuller can be extended to lower his cap. I wouldn’t part with him unless it’s in a deal to land Watson or Wilson. This brings me to a broader point about the defensive backfield: Kyle Fuller might be expendable. Vildor is nothing special. I would not be happy with him starting. This brings me to a broader point about the defensive backfield: Kyle Fuller might be expendable. Massie will be gone very soon too I would reckon.
Yeah, he's fine depth for now, but not someone you want out there for 16 games. We'll see how he progresses.Vildor is nothing special. I would not be happy with him starting.

I feel like I remember him being offside on a few crucial playsDidn't he cause a lot of penalties? He was overly aggressive it seemed at times.
Nah, he was a Pace guy! Pace missed out on him, when he took the Jets offer and Ryan scooped him up, when the Jets let him go. Another one of those, "Lets pick up this guy, he looked great 4 years ago when we last did homework on him!"If I remember correctly this was a guy Nagy just had to have. Whatever, he was average most of the time. Had a penchant for getting beat in the red zone I thought though. Obviously was on the outs when looked at his cap figure. Massie will be gone very soon too I would reckon.
