Optimistic why?

Started 3 years with successful college career. Very good with his hands. Strong run blocker. Very smart. Excellent size and strength.

I guess I am willing to give draft picks a chance before completely writing them off like you do before they ever play a single down in the NFL. I also don't judge them based on the color of their skin like you do too.

Aaron Rodgers is washed? Over 3,800 yards and 28 TDs?

Just how stupid are you?

He's bottom third in the league in the EPA; maybe he bounces back this year but he wasn't exactly a good QB last year regardless of empty yards & TD's. I think he has a better year than most are expecting but I doubt he will be elite--but likely the best QB Pittsburgh has had since Big Ben in 2019.

Just like there was zero chance the bears wouldnt take one of those 4 RB's, right?

Jets have a better roster than the steelers, imo. Rodgers is also washed and a cancer, there is a very real chance that team is bad this year and tomlin is fired.
I’ll fucking gladly accept this bet with you.

Please accept.

Why do i care what either of those teams do?

I think both the jets and steelers are bad. Unlike some i could care less if fields does anything in new jersey. He's no longer a chicago bear

Just think rodgers is washed and one hit from being on IR again. Jets might finish with like 8 wins while the steelers are starting a backup with 6 wins

He only has to be better than Justin Fields to win the bet.

I really dont care about either. I could see the Jets winning more games but highly doubtful his stats are better than AR's.

No he doesnt. Football is a team sport.

Jalen Hurts(The guy you said sucks) threw for 2900 yards and 5 TD's and his team won 12 games.

Both of those qb's are not very good. Rodgers is also a lot more likely to get hurt since he's old as **** and spends his entire offseasons doing drugs

All of those traits may be true but he still only projects as a backup.

According to the guy who is wrong about everything(you)?

NFL.com and the actual draft broadcast stated he could start day one at right tackle.

Stating you believe he may eventually become a backup is one thing, but your dumbass making statements like they are facts is what makes you seem like a clown countless times on this board. You are clueless in regards to talent evaluation.

He was 21st in EPA/play in 2022.

He's got a worse OL, worse weapons and worse running game. He's the reason he got his coach fired and literally is his own OC, he's 41 with a recent catastrophic injury. The Steelers better hope he gets hurt because that ****** is washed up and not worth the trouble.

Kudos to the Packers for getting off that sinking ship when they did, fantastic GMing.

Alright, I will accept your bet.

Zero chance the Jets finish with more wins than the Steelers.

Rodgers worst seasons would be Fields career best. Name the last year the Jets finished with a better record than the Steelers.

I feel bad, but lay out the terms for @PrideisBears and @BaBaBlacksheep
Jets finish with more wins than the Steelers I will rename you to "Midway Rodgers"

Steelers finish with more wins than Jets you are free to rename me to whatever you want, have fun with it, I don't care. I'll still come back and post with whatever name you choose because I'm not a coward.

They tie, nothing happens. We don't need to be weirdos towards each other throughout the season, it's just something stupid and fun.

That's fine that you don't care. I'm merely commenting on the fact that bet is the Jets will be better than the Steelers because of Justin Fields.

The Steelers have had one losing record under Tomlin while the Jets have been one of the worst teams pretty consistently.

You stepped into a conversation you don't care about to somehow create a point that the worst QB in the NFL over the past 4 years is somehow going to be better than one of the greatest of all time who while not elite today will still be better than Justin Fields during his worst year.

I was just talking about Rodgers you dipshit, somehow he had some great season last year(lol). This thread is actually about "Caleb's best & worst games" but somehow you managed to drag Fields into it. Most of us dont give a **** anymore.

And somehow you managed to think that I believed Fields was going to be better when this was explicitly said "I could see the Jets winning more games but highly doubtful his stats are better than AR's." Reading comprehension in this country has fallen by the wayside. Post your thoughts about Fields in this thread here:

Yeah you talkshit about reading comprehension but somehow jumped to the conclusion that I said he had a great season.

The discussion is whether or not Aaron Rodgers is washed up in comparison to Justin Fields.

How in the **** are the Jets going to be better than the Steelers? You and I both know they won't be so this is basically you wanting to argue about Justin Fields again and then me promptly calling you out for yet another stupid Justin Fields take to which you run back and say "I don't care"

I want in on this action. How about a lifetime ban from the board? I got the Steelers and you can take the Jets. The Jets will not finish with more wins than the Steelers.

If the Jets win more games than the Steelers I'll go away with a permanent ban. If the Steelers win more games than the Jets you go away forever.
