Dammit. This was one time I was hoping RK was wrong.

I guess now I'm hoping the 4-5 weeks is all it is.

Leddy is too timid out there and rightfully so as a 19 year old. He needs to be in Rockford before Chicago.

You obviously missed last nights game! No completely disagreeing with you but he most certainly could play in Chicago right now. Not saying there won't be a learning curve, but I also don't think it will do anything to his development at all. Especially playing with guys named Keith and Seabrook!

Last nite was my first game, and i have not been able to see any games on tv. I tend to agree about Leddy, but I guess the brass figures he is better developing on the big team. That surprises me. Ditto for Morin.

It seemed like Stalberg was wearing a blindfold whenever i was focusing on him. I'm not sure about the depth roster, is this guy going to make the team? I guess that's what happens when you don't have a 3d line of Ladd, Buff, Versteeg.

And what a difference watching this team in preseason compared to the team winning the Cup a few weeks ago. I think i may have to make myself some flash cards to get used to all the new numbers.

haha I was doing the number thing last night too!!!!

I think if you go back and look we can say they rushed Barker too. Primarily like now, because they had too. The big difference is with Barker the teams leaders were Aucoin and Lapointe. This time around with Leddy you have Keith, Seabrook, Toews as leaders on this team. Leddy looks more talented than Barker did and no better people to learn from and play with than Seabrook and Keith.

I'm fine with Leddy being here. Especially seeing how confident he looked last night. The only real down fall is you start his salary cap clock working now.

My jury is out on Stahlberg right now.

I think Leddy will be fine. Hammer is a great partner for ANY defenseman, and he can cover up a lot of Leddy's mistakes, just like he did with Campbell. I'm not terribly worried yet. Campbell being out hurts this team, but hopefully not too much. Couple of kids getting HUGE shots with the team right now. Let's see how they respond.

Give Leddy a shot, why not at this point? If he starts making egregious errors Connelly, who while being "just a guy" I think his solid enough in the short term, can be called up.

The really sucky think about this injury is that since Boynton is suspended for 1 regular season game, Cullisucksackwasteofspermpleasejustgetitoverwithandretiremore is most likely going to play...and with either Hendry or Scott.

I can't wait to see that on the back of his jersey opening night.

God I hope you're wrong. I believe the last time I saw him playing a game that counted in the Indianhead, he was putting the puck into his own net while Aucoin was rubbing his groin in the pressbox again.

I'll throw up if I see Cullimore out there opening night. Really thought I saw the back of that bum. Bad news about Campbell as its a lot of games he's going to miss.
