How about a monthly ban vote. Members nominate primary participants and narrow it down to a few finalists. Then all can vote for the member to take a month vacation until the next vote. Can't get voted out more than twice in a row but then become eligible again. Perhaps more than one per session.

Maybe we can have better discussions without so many trolls and confirmed contrarians.

CCs will always maintain it's edge but some of the extremists make this a much less pleasing experience. Many of these individual posts from some of these members aren't necessarily ban worthy and this gives the Mods an out as well.

This is a brilliant idea. We would all vote for @dabears70 to get banned first and he would unfortunately miss out on the discussions for the beginning of the season. Then maybe there is a chance we “forget” about this thread and he continues to stay banned.
