The problem with this line of thought is that all these kids want is attention because, I don't know, their moms didn't breastfeed them or something. So it would just become a competition to see who can be the most annoying and get banned. Then they would just grab their alt and post for the next month. It's kind of just giving him what they want.

How about a monthly ban vote. Members nominate primary participants and narrow it down to a few finalists. Then all can vote for the member to take a month vacation until the next vote. Can't get voted out more than twice in a row but then become eligible again. Perhaps more than one per session.

Maybe we can have better discussions without so many trolls and confirmed contrarians.

CCs will always maintain it's edge but some of the extremists make this a much less pleasing experience. Many of these individual posts from some of these members aren't necessarily ban worthy and this gives the Mods an out as well.
