I was one of the most-banned posters on CBMB. I haven't had so much as a warning here. I'm amazed.

Healing with objectivity.
Here have a warning for...something

A lot of people are very toxic people. Thing is, we've given many people multiple chances to straighten up and get their act together. Some have, some haven't. Anyone from the CBMB should be long "settled" in by now.

I didn't ban BB, I don't know exactly what happened, so I can't comment on specifics.

I don't know what happened either. I just know that lately, a lot more people have been getting banned... I mean, for CCS standards.

Before the guys from CBMB ever cam here, there were CCS posters that were also "toxic" but they were never banned.

Personally, I feel like it's how the poster is perceived by other posters and/or mods. There are people here that are generally disliked, and it seems like they get banned easier. Someone who is generally liked can do the same thing, but either nothing happens, or they get a very short (1 day) ban.

But yeah, in the past, it seemed like people only got banned for:

*being extremely disrespectful (racist, homophobic, etc.)
*Threatening someone (If I ever see you, I'll beat the shit out of you)
*Continuously posting porn after being told to stop a few times
*Spamming and/or advertising something

Now people are getting banned for things that seem kinda mild.

I mean, I don't really care. It's just something I've noticed, and I think can be inconsistent.

I'd agree. Scoot talks about toxic people but how toxic can you be in cyberspace? I don't see any Adrian Petersons or Ray Rices posting here. At least a couple of mods must have gotten entirely too sensitive and are over moderating.

You should see some of the PM's I've received from certain posters...

I haven't received any hostile or threatening PMs either.

I'm obviously not doing something right. You'd think being an elite Cutler hater would get you somewhere ...

Also, this is surprising. I'm not saying you deserve to get those type of PMs, but I do think a lot of people spit quite a bit of vitriol your way.

Since The Great CBMB Migration, you've also seen a complete change in mod leadership here. Much of the "old flag" is gone and do not post here anymore. So its brought in many new guys. We don't have a code of conduct really that states we can only ban for this or that or what not. So, the rulings are rather inconsistent. I'll be the first to say that. Rush has pretty much informed us to make our best judgement. Trivial matters are always discussed among the staff (usually based off reported posts) whether or not it is worth a ban..usually there isn't much of a disagreement... Those four things you listed are usually automatic bans without any discussion.

As far as people liked/disliked. That usually is what results in the reported posts. Meaning a person who is disliked is more likely to be reported and thus it is seen by the staff more often (because lets be honest, none of us live here). Someone liked may not have people reporting him.

Additionally, someone who brings nothing of value to the forum but is constantly causing problems is not very likely to last long here.

I'm not even counting you as a elite Cutler hater anymore. Like Forte, you've become a cut below elite. Sorry, just telling it like it is.

CBMB was very quick to ban. I got banned for 2 weeks for jokingly saying, "that's not what your mom said last night."

My first ban on there was for talking back to Omelet. After that I was banned multiple times for making Mozart freak out.

When I got here I got banned for sassing Scoot, then there was the Billsbud ban. Mostly silly stuff in my mind but I guess I got what I've deserved.

So, what you're saying to us is Report anyone I hate and they may get banned. Got it!

I got banned there a lot too. Thought it was safe here so decided to test some boundaries seeing most bans were of the 1 day to 1 week variety. Then the first time I'm banned I get over a month . . .what the what?
