It feels strange to want him in the lineup so much. I just hope the line combos make sense. Stop putting the impact players with role players. We have no Ladd, Buf, Shaw, Bolland types... (Maybe Hagel some day)

I don't think he's a savior here by any means, but I think what he'll bring in combination with now must sit (depending on who it is) could bring just enough boost to cause something to change.

I have been calling for Dabrincat, Strome, and Kane line since they broke it up after 2019! Let's put the puck in the net!

Dach - Toews - Kubalik
Dabrincat - Strome - Kane
Hagel/Kurashev - Borg - Johnson
Entwistle - Carp - Khaira/Hagel
? - ?

I just don't see Dach a good fit with Toews so maybe swap with Hagel. Of course my fan boy showing here but it's more about fit than Dach ability.

Definitely. And who knows, maybe he has a shit game and it backfires, but at this point you have to go with the more experienced player who does have offensive upside. I actually don't mind the Carpenter recall either; I've been saying for a while now, put in the best possible lineup. This is not a rebuild this year, go with your experience guys and stop with the kid experiments, we can't afford it right now.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I've seen Dach and Hagel start to develop some chemistry together. I wouldn't want to break them up just yet, and I wouldn't want to move Dach to wing -- he has to become a legit center in my opinion. I support your second line, I'd sit Borg and Entwistle.

I'd move Kurashev down to third because he's been more than underwhelming. What happened to this guy? He and Suter looked like beasts along the boards last season; now, Kurashev (like the rest of the team) can't win a board battle to save his life. Send him down to third as a kick in the ass, because he needs one.
