Only players I really hate are guys like Milton Bradley guys who were just idiots and wasted their talent. Guys like Fonso who loves the game plays hard and tries you really cant hate. He just got old and got bad legs you cant blame him for taking a massive contract that he wasnt worth every one in their right mind would take more money than they are worth if offered. Fonso is a guy who really loves the game and is a good guy on and off the field it is a shame he declined so fast but Jimmy should of though about that when he gave him a massive deal.

Is LaHair a legit part of the Cubs' future or is this just a hot streak for him?

He's a stopgap who's not completely sucking and is actually doing quite well. There's reason to believe he has the power and the patience to be a good contributor but basically he's a poor man's Matt Stairs. He's definitely useful so far, though.

He tore up AAA last season -- there's a reason he's starting and Rizzo's in the minors. that being said, Rizzo is the long-term plan.

Decent throw by DeJesus on that line drive. No more shutout though.

Wow, Volstad just swung and missed at a pitch that probably would've hit him in the arm if he hadn't swung

Pitchers suck at hitting.

Tony Campana would be a lot cooler if he'd hit the ball anywhere but right at the pitcher.
