Maybe it's just a coincidence, but check out Melo's twitter profile pic.

Carmelo Anthony (carmeloanthony) on Twitter

Now, I can be waaaay off here. I usually look too into things, but maybe Carmelo is trying to say something without any words. I see red. A lot of red. No blue, no orange... just red and black. Hmmmm.

Nice shoes Melo. Nice Shoes. Thats all I am willing to say now.

Another coincidental clue. From Anthony's Twitter.

“carmeloanthony: Get ready….it’s Bully season ”http://fb.me/J8hM66jk"

Maybe he just meant he was ready to bully other teams, OR maybe he meant He's ready for the Bulls season.

We already know his numbers and all the speculation.......but
If you put that tweet together with his new profile pic (red and black shoes)

C'Mon man. Maybe he and Nuggets and Bulls front office already have the blueprints laid out, but are waiting for a specific date, and Melo is just throwing out the signs without tampering with any of the NBA regulations.

LOL......like I said, I could be way off. But there are no such things as coincidences. We shall wait and see.

Yeah I've seen these shoes awhile back before they were on his twitter and was thinking what if too. I actually like these shoes compared to some of his others though.

I really believe that there are a lot of Bulls' fans overrating Carmelo Anthony right now. He's nowhere near the kind of versatile player that LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, or Kevin Durant are. He's actually rather one-dimensional compared to a lot of players in the league. He's not a great passer; nor does he create very well for others. He's an average rebounder and defensive player on the wing. Sure, he's a naturally great scorer. But is he more dominant than any of those 4 guys? No way that he is...

For those of you who like analogies:

LeBron James : Carmelo Anthony :: Carmelo Anthony : Joakim Noah

Who's to say that having Carmelo will automatically take the Bulls to the next level (the championship level)? And this is true regardless of who they would need to give up in order to acquire him?

If Denver doesn't take a Deng/Gibson deal then I would be okay if Chicago went the pure draft-pick route in order to become a title contender.

Which is also a possibility, Just sharing what I red about Carmelo and posting it on a "Chicago bulls sports forum". I doesnt matter how I feel about Melo, this is just the latest in regards to the player, in which I wanted to share, on this thread.

#1 You never know what you have until you lose it. Deng
#2 You'll never know what you've been missing out on if you dont take risks. Melo
#3 You're only a correct answer away

#4 We also been looking at it from a players perspective, when in the end, a good coach (IMO Thibs) will work with whatever he's got to work with on the roster and maximize the potential. (Look how differently he uses Deng compared to DelNegro in the rotations) Coach Thibs is surely showing sparks of light. Who's to say he wont maximize with any other player the same way? He's the coach. I'm sure he knows what to do with his players. My point is the coach has a lot to do with it as well.

(Style of system, team philosophy)

As great as Melo is, if he can't get with us mentally, pass/trade him, but doesn't hurt to try eh?

Having Carmelo on the team makes us the favorite in the east. Our bench would still be deep and the Bulls have three dangerous scoring options in Rose/Boozer/Melo. You cant guard all three and you know Rose passes first. Anyone who thinks this team would not be better with Melo is insane lol.

if he is one denominational player. what is his one dimension you are referring too?

I agree with adog...Melo would make us the best Eastern conference team by far. Even though I doubt Denver takes Deng's contract I still have some hope a deal gets done.

True. Thats why I, including the article that was post by Rolyo, says the best way to do it is a three team trade with Philly. Im surprised the article did not mention the trade involving Philly and Denver, and then Carmelo being reluctant to go there since Philly sucks. So why not propose a 3 team trade, Deng to Philly along with other assets, Iggy to Denver which gives them an all star player in return, then Melo to chicago. Sounds easier said then done but you know the Bulls are trying because this team will not be on championship contending level without Melo.

Adog I disagree with you on one thing. I really believe with Boozer this team will be a top 3 squad. I really see a lot of potential with the Bulls. As long as we can stay healthy and buy into Thibs system and perform it successfully you will see a great team.

Still you find a way to pull the trigger on that trade. Good thing about Boozer is that its only a pinky finger that broke and nothing else. As far as the system goes, this team has totally bought into it as you can tell with the better passing and Deng putting up decent numbers. Problem is Deng is not very consistent. Melo makes us 100 percent a Dynasty, thats why i want this trade to happen instead of sticking to the roster we have.

I worry about bringing in a superstar like Melo I just don't know why.

thats because if we get melo we become a championship bound team.

Well I hope if we do get him everything would fall into place perfectly. I don't see us acquiring him but I'm all for it.

Lol i wonder why as well. But think of it. Rose would dish him the ball, or pick and roll with Boozer, or explode to the basket with a sick layup or dunk. This offense would be fast as well. Noah would take a huge amount of pressure off of Boozer and Bogans would be your primary defender. With Rose/Boozer/Melo on the floor, who would be another huge weapon, that would be Korver. Melo would buy into the system because players across the league respect Thibs as a strategist and teacher. He would buy into also because of the wins we would be racking up during the season. The Heat would not keep up with us. only team i feel we would need to worry about in that situation would be the Magic and Boston. I have to admit it would be a big battle with the Heat.
