I just ask if he has a chance because in my mind, he's one of the best rookies in the NL this year and is better than Colvin. I only think Stras is better than him stats wise but I expect him to had one bad start and mess that up[. Ike and Heyard is ont he border for me. They both have potential, but to me there not showing there best this year.

This thread is crazy.

There's no shot Castro will be ROY. He will need to have a MONSTER second half. His number's right now, aren't all impressive. Mix in the other candidates, and there's no way.

I like Castro and all, but the kid still has a lot of room for improvement. His defense is bad, something he needs to work on, first and for most.

Castro will improve as he's only 20. His defense right now is average and hitting is above average.

He's really got time to improve. No one is saying he's not gonna be a good ballplayer. It's just he wont win ROY. Too much talent right now.

I think ROY has been better in the past. I think a lot of the rookies got called up to early but needed to be called up.

Colvin has more power. I'm STILL waiting for Castro's first Wrigley Field blast. I can't wait!
