Chicago selects defensemen Chris Pronger.
We feel his ability to play a ton of minuets, move the puck from the blueline, and make life hard for other teams combined with his immense success in the post season makes him a good fit for our organization.

Whoever picked Marty St. Louis has the steal of the draft thus far, nice pick Ivy. I had my fingers crossed he would fall a bit more.
Also Tbo Nice pick with Matt Duchene, I was hoping to select him and play him on the wing with Toews.
I am happy with Pronger to anchor my defense. He makes life hard for other teams, can eat a ton of minuets, has good puck moving skills, and his playoff performances speak for themselves. He has a reasonable cap hit under 5 million as well.
