I'm in need of a new Cell Phone. I've had a Samsung Axiom since 2012 lol. A little outdated, but I prefer to buy a new phone and use it for years as opposed to upgrading every 2 years and wasting money. Anways, I could go the iPhone route or get the latest Samsung Galaxy. I've been looking into the Google Pixel - anyone have any experience with these and would you recommend it?

lmao. Don't hate. The RAZR was a great phone. I'm a simple man. I don't need the latest and greatest super XL processor and 578 GB of storage for all my stupid pictures and apps although when I do upgrade I prefer to buy something that is newer and will last me a while.

Note 7 is correct...or whatever the heck they call it. I have an S7 and it hasn't blown up...yet

This is another problem I have with the phones they come out with. I don't need this monstrosity of a phone in my pocket.

Phones kept getting smaller and smaller until people found out they could watch porn on them and have started getting bigger and bigger.

I have a galaxy s6 active. Waterproof and shit. It's nice. Never had a problem with it. Had the s4 active as well.

I like Galaxys.

I picked up and S7 Edge a few months ago and I've liked it quite a bit so far. The only issue I've found is that the Yahoo Sports edge app only updates for games already completed (no live scores) which is fucking stupid as shit, and haven't found another edge sports app. Went with the Edge over the regular S7 primarily because it has a 20% larger battery (can usually go a day and a half or so of fairly heavy use prior to charging [currently at 83% from my overnight charge]). Other than that the edge functions are more handy than actually useful for the most part.

The other main contender was the LG G5; the benefits of which are a dual front camera and a modular design which allows you to easily remove and replace the battery or add on plug-in accessories.

And when you go case shopping look at Spigen; they make really durable shit that is good quality.

Edit: And yes, it was the S7 Note that had the battery explosion issue. Not sure why anyone would buy something that big anyways. I was looking at the LG V20 online then saw it in person...holy fucking gigantic.
