I still have my original flip phone from Sprint.... not in use of course.

Actually I have all my previous phones laying around somewhere in my house.

I am an electronics hoarder I think.

I wish cell phones didn't exist. People on them while driving, walking into traffic and being a pain in the ass at any place you go. Should be an IQ test before people can buy one.

My wife's old Lumia was pissing her off since Microsoft was hamstringing the OS, so she was looking at the Note 7 before it was permanently pulled for spontaneously combusting. The problem was not with the phone proper, but with the battery and is a good argument for removable batteries for the phone (like my Note 4). She ended up with an S7 edge, which is similar to the Note 7 but with a better battery and no stylus.

At some point I'll be due for an upgrade, but so far my Note 4 has been a tank (can do everything but drive railroad spikes) and there's not been a phone/tablet hybrid out there (or "phablet", for the eternally geeky), with a stylus, and a removable battery. Although, I could probably live without the stylus and get the V20 from LG...

Technically, I think there should be an IQ test before getting your driver's license--which include no cell usage. However, walking into traffic? Passive darwinism.

It's the driving and texting that kills me. Or when I see someone taking selfies in public/making a snapchat story that is really makes me go :cringe:

I'm a fan of the Galaxy phones. I had the S2, S4, and currently have the S6. I've been happy with all of them.

My last non-smartphone.

Sony Ericsson P910

*technically, it's still a smartphone, but I didn't use it like that since data was too expensive. Yay 2000-08 style PDA-phones

Then Sony had this bright idea to remove the headphone jack for the next iteration in favor of some proprietary BS cable that had only an additional and unreliable accessory for 3.5mm audio. That's when I went Blackberry/Palm for a few years. Then all at once, everyone got rid of their physical keyboards on high end phones.

If someone made a good flip-phone that wasn't just an oversized android device, I would make that my daily driver. Problem, all the good feature phones only come out in Asia and are one band off being useful in the US. We get stuck with the most bulky flip-phones that do not outperform 10 year old tech and are purpose built either for rugged work use, or for really old people.

lmao. Don't hate. The RAZR was a great phone. I'm a simple man. I don't need the latest and greatest super XL processor and 578 GB of storage for all my stupid pictures and apps although when I do upgrade I prefer to buy something that is newer and will last me a while.

i thought youd be more worried about being tracked via that mark of the beast

i have my wifes hand me downs now... dont carry it unless i have to.. basically use it to stream tv/movies all day instead --- chromecast

hand me downs have issues though.. my htc one has a dead section up in the upper left hand corner from all the woman txting the old lady does..... she gave me her iphone 5 with cracked screen a few months ago.. havent fixed the screen yet but thats my new phone..

i had a razr.. was okay.. was a hand me down from my bro... i never really cared for mobile phones but i enjoyed the blackberry with da full qwerty keyboards i had many years ago..

This is Martin Cooper the inventor of the cell phone. I used to work with him at Motorola. We had a number of meetings together and I didnt like him. He was very arrogant. He is now 87 and probably is still arrogant
