OHST-37, OH-7- The Buckeyes, as usual, play their small underground rivals in Ohio University, and today, showed why Ohio State University is the better school. Terrelle Pryor is playing like his old self again, after having a terrible first game against Baylor, and is showing his running ability as well.
The Buckeyes got off to a nice solid start early, getting up 17-0 in the first half. The Bobcats wouldn't back down however, as they put a touchdown in to make it 17-7. The Buckeyes than went on to outscore the Bobcats 20-0 the rest of the game, and head to 3-0 on the season.
Coach Eric Follman announced today that FS Kevin Moore form Joilet Illinois has signed his letter of intent to go to Notre Dame. Follman was just as happy as this is his first recruit of the season. Morre was in the ESPN top 150 recruits. Notre Dame is actively recruiting as always and we will kepp you updated on any further announcements.

Dayne Crist was on a roll until very close to halftime the DL of Western Kentucky took out Crist and Crist came off the field holding his shoulder and he did not return. We should hear word soon on how long he will be gone for. Notre Dame takes on Akron next week there last game before jumping into Big Ten play.
CHAD0034 Invites Plenty Of Recruits For Week 4 Against Cincinnati
It's going to be an Ohio battle, as the states top two football colleges will face off against eachother. Too add to the intensity, the Buckeyes have invited six different recruits to the game.
"I like to let them sit with eachother and let them communicate with one another. It usually ends up being a positive thing," said coach Fellers in todays press conference.
The Cincinnati Bobcats were ranked #24 coming into the season, but a quick loss threw them out of the Top 25 Polls. They look to head back if they can get their hands on a monumental upset, beating the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium.
Coach Chad Fellers, just after the game against the Baylor Bears, was notified that three of us recruiting targets have hard committed to Ohio State University. Those players being two four star wide recievers, and one five star defensive end.
"We're very happy with our recruiting start to the season. Not many coaches can say they have three hard commits already," said coach Fellers after hearing the good news.
James Bailey was ranked number 32 overall in the ESPN U Top 150 players in the nation, and is really happy to be playing for what was his favorite team growing up.
"I never imagined I could play for my favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, but I'm so happy to have a chance to do it next season," said the exstatic young defensive end.
Crist out 4 Weeks. True Freshamn Hendrix Named Starter.
South Bend IND- Crist today was given an MRI and coah Eric Follman wasnt happy with the results. He announced that Crist will miss 3-4 weeks with a strained shoulder. Coach Follman announced True Freshman Andrew Hendrix will take the staring role. Crist's injury will kepp him out of the opening conference games against Michigan and most likely #2 Ohio State. When Hendrix heard the announcent he was optimistic.
"Im dissapointed this is how my play time comes but im ready for the challenge. This is why I came here because I feel I fit well this program." Hendrix said in an interview.
Notre Dame will face Akron next week.
MICH - 45, FCS E - 3- With a couple of recruits visiting Michigan's campus this week the Wolverines treated them to a relaxing day around town. The Wolverines were up against the FCS East, as they were no competition for Michigan as they knotted a 45-3 win.

#22ND-45 AKR-17- In Notre Dame's first game without Crist they still did what they had to do and that is win. Andrew Hendrix was a pleasent surprise throwing for 3 TD's but he also was a little anxious and threw 3INT's. This was a cupcake game in preperation for conference play opening up next week vs 3-1 Michigan. Then after that ND will travel to Ohio to take on the #2 Buckeyes

Buckeyes Hang On With Winning Field Goal To Win Wild One, 23-20
John Simon pressured the Bearcats QB all game long
(2-2) CIN- 0 | 10 | 7 | 3 || 20
(4-0) #2 OHST- 10 | 7 | 0 | 6 || 23
OHST-23, CIN-20- With plenty of recruits in the rainy stands at Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes hoped for a nice slaughtering of the Cincinnati Bearcats this week, but they didn't get what they bargained for. The Bearcats managed to stay in the game all day long, and even took the lead in the fourth quarter.
Chad Fellers and his Buckeyes stood there, dumbfounded, but still alive. They knew they still had a good chance to win the game with a couple good drives, and that's just what they did, kicking two field goals in the fourth quarter, including one with time expiring to win the game.
"We have to play better with the ball, and not turn it over on the fumble so much. That's what killed us," said coach Fellers. Ohio State turned the ball over on fumbles three times in their opponents terroritory this game, which made the Buckeye fans cringe every time. Luckily, they held off for a win.

Buckeyes Flirt With Disaster In Battle For IlliBuck But Win, 27-21
Terrelle Pryor has been a fumble machine this season
(5-0) #2 OHST- 0 | 7 | 3 | 17 || 27
(1-3) ILL- 7 | 7 | 7 | 0 || 21
OHST-27, ILL-21- We don't know what it is about the 2010-2011 Ohio State Buckeyes, but they seem to love games that come down to the last posession. This, a game that many thought would be an easy win for Ohio State, turned out to be something the Buckeyes didn't expect, for the second week in a row.
The Fighting Illini fought hard all game long, and actually held the lead almost the entire game.
"This teams going to give me a heart attack before long," joked coach Fellers after the game.
One thing is for sure. Eventually this Ohio State team is going to come across a team that does not blow the lead late in the game, and will experience defeat if they keep playing the way they are. Terrelle Pryor and Brandon Saine need to stop fumbling the ball so much if the Buckeyes want to stay an elite team, and a championship contender.
MICH - 18, MICH ST - 28- Coming into this one looking for a win Tate Forcier and the Michigan Wolverines didn't look like they wanted it that bad.
Forcier made a handful of mistakes and put the Wolverines in a tough situation. The Spartans were able to capitalize and control the flow of the game, eventually leading to a win.

Ohio State Suffers First Loss Of The Season Against Notre Dame, 34-27
The Buckeyes defense couldn't come through late in the game, like we've seen before this season
(5-0) #16 ND- 10 | 3 | 14 | 7 || 34
(5-1) #2 OHST- 14 | 6 | 0 | 7 || 27
OHST-27, ND-34- Ohio State faces another big challenge after playing sub par football the past few weeks, in the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Irish put together a great performence, and one that came down to the final possession, once again. This time, the Buckeyes were on the wrong side of the game, losing their first match of the season.
Notre Dame is most likely to move up into the top 10 next week, while the Buckeyes will have to head down in the rankings to most likely 10-12.
"I told the players. You fumble the ball, we're going to be in trouble. What'd we do? Fumble the ball," said Coach Fellers.
