Forte we have Bell and Allen

Briggs we draft his replacement.

JJ-28, no. In regards to trading Forte and Briggs.

Who would we replace Forte with?

Who would we replace Briggs with?

Theres nothing in the pipleline at either position at this point in time.

Briggs we draft his replacement.

I think we can get get more production out of Forte and Briggs, so lets keep them for the meantime.

But how does this sound ... Matt Flynn F.A. QB from G.B. ?

If we sign him he walks with G.B.'s playbook in his head.

Throwing for 6 TD's in one game doesnt hurt either.

The Hanie experiment is over ... hellova nice guy ... but...

Orton looks like he will be the BU at KC.

That leaves us with Cutler and McCown ...

so we need a third,

If Angelo is such a genuis, sign Flynn.

Flynn would not come here to be a backup. Since there are teams that need a starting QB. Seattle might be an option for him.

He's been willing to sit as backup in G.B., not as a starter.

This is like the Hanie showing last year in the playoffs.

He had one good game in a losing effort.

Well, maybe the Raiduhs game too. Once again losing.

But Flynn is soon to be a FA. He belongs with us.

Not only because of the GB playbook,

but ... for some reason ... GB can develop QB's.

We should cleanup on it.

Now remember how many games Cutler has missed since we signed him ...

and who replaced him.

Remember what the results were afterwards.

Flynn would not come to the bears to play backup. Just won't happen
The packers are contenders, the bears are not.

Moving on in the NFL draft ... Indy just cut Pollian loose along with his son.

How many times has Indy gone 12-4 under his leadership?

As I recall they beat us in a SuperBowl.

We all hate angelo and thats an acknowledged.

If you wanted to replace angelo with somthing else ...

who would you replace him with?

BIGGEST SHAKEOUT IN YEARS !!

Ok in an ideal world lets go with a proven track record :

The Polian group as GM.

Buffalo ,Caro, Indy.

All other options are definatly on the board !

Remember the word : 'ideal'.

HC ... Toub

OC ... Bates

QB coach ... ?

If Drake walks either resigning or fired ... then who replaces him ?

Bringing in Ross from NYG's as our head of college scouting is a plus.

Remember this is only preliminary as no GM has been named.

How would you like to see it play out?

Lets hire Ross for the same job here.

wouldn't it be nice if here to just accept the same job for a worse team at the moment. If ross comes here it's with a pay raise and promotion to the GM job, just my opinion though.

Eric Decosta is on the short list and if the Bears get him, we will be extremely fortunate! He is the top young GM prospect in the business. Proven track record as the Director of Personnel with the Ravens.

At least he didnt throw a chair at a wall and it stuck ... with all four legs embedded !

My favorite DITKA story after he lost a card game. :beerbang:

Shit ... I thought this vid was going to have the famous DITKA hit when a fan came on the field. However this does have shitloads of great BEARS hits.

Most of which would be ILLEGAL today. That's when they played the game, lights out! No wonder theres a Tom Brady ... bitch wouldnt last back then.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The success of the Packers and the way in which the team has been built has not gone unnoticed by the rest of the NFL.

On Thursday night, multiple reports surfaced that Green Bay's director of football operations Reggie McKenzie would be hired as the Oakland Raiders' new general manager, and the team confirmed those reports Friday.

McKenzie, 48, has been with the Packers organization since 1994, initially as a pro personnel assistant. He was later promoted to director of pro personnel in 1997 and has been in his current position since 2008.

McKenzie, who played linebacker in the NFL from 1985 to 1992, spent four of those seasons with the Raiders.

McKenzie's responsibilities with the Packers included overseeing the team's scouting efforts of all professional football leagues and assessing Green Bay's current players and evaluating potential free agents. He also worked closely with Packers coach Mike McCarthy in-season to provide advance scouting reports on upcoming opponents.

During his years in Green Bay, he has had the chance to work with former general manager Ron Wolf, who built the Packers' two Super Bowl teams in the 1990s, and current GM Ted Thompson, who constructed the team that is 15-1 and defending a Super Bowl title.

"I would like to thank Reggie McKenzie for all that he has done for the Green Bay Packers over the last 18 years," Thompson said in a statement Friday. "Reggie is a tremendous talent, but more importantly, he is a good friend and a great family man. His contributions to our organization are numerous, and he is ready for the opportunity to be a general manager in the National Football League. It's been a privilege to work with Reggie. He is a good man."

Raiders owner Al Davis had essentially served as the team's general manager until his death in October. Raiders coach Hue Jackson has had the final say on personnel since that time and put together the midseason trade that brought quarterback Carson Palmer to Oakland.

Oakland finished the season 8-8 and out of the playoffs.
