I'm loving Pace so far, each and every move (more or less). I can see why you do not approve of him:

1. you are a fan of BM
2. you believe Pace hasn't done anything that will help us win incremental games in 2015

Understood. Thankfully, Pace knows 2015 is a write-off, as 2016 likely is, and he's attempting to build a platform for a successful dynasty. 30+ yr old and overpriced skill players do not fit into that model. Pace may or may not be money, time will tell, but i am stoked with the initial steps in purging the old and retooling.

Go ahead and be stoked. Name one player that he signed out of free agency who is an impact player on offense or defense. Every player he signed was an average or worse veteran. Thats not building a dynasty. that is slowing entering a pit of quicksand. The shit will not let you fall quickly but you will slowly sink to your death. This is what Pace is doing. Building a steamy stinking pit of quicksand. In the meantime, GB will dominate the division and Detroit is getting much better. Thank God for Minnesota.

7. Chicago Bears - Kevin White, WR, West Virginia

When the Bears dumped Brandon Marshall, it was obvious they needed to upgrade at the wide receiver position. White is the right direction to take with the seventh pick in the draft, but there are some issues with his game. His route running needs improved and he enters the NFL with just one good season of good play in college.

Doesn't sound like White is all that great to me. Should've kept B Marshall & drafted a defensive stud. Cutler can barely get the ball to a decent receiver, let alone one who can't even run a proper route. Good news is we'll probably be picking in the top ten in 2016 NFL draft.
A college WR needs to improve his route running? The **** you say.

The Jets are fucking idiots, and in not just saying that. Their defense is gonna be awesome, but have they not learned anything the last 5 years!? Their offense will suck and their division will eat them up.

It's kind of like STL drafting Donald and signing Fairly, it's not helping their offense hence limiting their potential.

They'll be at least 10-6. They have a great defense this year and a much improved offense. Their quarterback will mature and have a much better set of stats than they loser that the Bears have. Bears will be lucky to win 4 games this season. Pace sucks.

Word, because winning in FA worked out so well for Emery and teams like the Eagles before him.

I knew it was a mistake for the Bears to only have one draft pick in this draft.

And you've so clearly done a lot of research on this topic.

Keeping Brandon Marshall and drafting Williams precludes the Bears from signing McPhee, Rolle, and Ball. So how does keeping Marshall and signing a single defensive starter improve the defense more than trading Marshall and using the savings to sign three defensive starters?

Hodor.

Love the pick. Would have preferred Williams, but once the Jets were on the clock I knew we would get a guy I liked.

I don't understand the hate for this pick. Yes, Marshall is a better receiver right now...but White compliments Jeffery much better. He is a legitimate deep threat in a big receivers body. White will become a stud in this league, and it's also very good insurance in case Jeffery doesn't re-sign.

His route tree has only a few branches on it. He really only had one good season in college. He's just another over-rated receiver. They could have gotten a guy like him in the 3rd round.

Not seeing those comments regarding A Cooper, for example.
Will have to see how White does when he takes the field in Sept.

Ryan Pace disagrees with you on the route tree. who are we to believe, it's such a tough decision.

Cooper is the exception in that regard, not the rule. Fact is very few college wr's are polished products coming out.

White has shown and proven he takes to coaching very well.

well, maybe this guy can improve are team in a couple of years, when that good QB falls out of the sky.
but as of today, the Packers who picked 23 spots later, improved their chances of winning next year, more than we did.

but that's ok I guess, because were on a 3 to 5 year rebuild................so this is what it feels like to be a Jags/browns/titans fan.

I think the Browns had a great first round draft. Bears will be at the bottom of the division for the next four years at least. They will remain down there as long as the McCaskey family is in charge. Shitty SHITTY organization. They are like the Blackhawks while the old man was in charge. No vitality. Just a bunch of old ideas and a play it safe attitude.

The Bears had a chance to change their destiny once again and totally fucked things up. John Fox was no dynamic answer. Pace is just another run of the mill guy filling a suit. This is the fault of the McCaskey family and until that family gets the hell out of the NFL, Soldier Field will be a place where talent goes to die.

I love days like yesterday and today. It makes it really easy for me to add to my ignore list. All the trolls and negative a-holes on this board that hate everything the Bears do come out, and I add them one by one to oblivion. Thanks for making it easy, losers.

THen Pace can draft the tight end with six thumbs.

McPhee, Rolle, and Ball? Sounds like a legal firm of shysters, not a threesome of football players that are worth a shit.
