Chicago Bears select WR Kevin White 7th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft

I will say this, if Bennett gets traded for something good, like help on defense, White will be a better pick than it is now.

The Bears give themselves an out to suck and that's why they took the best of many worlds.

1st: Offensive weapon gives them a 1 year reprieve for the D sucking so it is easier for the public to swallow.

2nd: they get a young playmaker with top 10 talent that will be here for a long time while they build the defense and grow a new QB.

3rd: They give an outlet to Cutler to allow him to get rid of balls early. White should be open earlier and has good jump ball abilities.

Will the also still grow the man?

yeah I could see it get more defense line help or oline help or even a rb yes Bennett has no guaranteed money and has value.

We took the BPA, there nothing wrong with that. We filled needs in FA so who was on the board that you would have preferred over White that wouldnt have been a reach at 7? i think the bears made the right move

Pace gave away Marshall and got nothing in return. What a bonehead move. Imagine our offense with Forte, Bennett, Jeffery, Marshall, and White.

I love the pick but Pace still has a lot of work to do.

There is no chance Marshall and White would have ever been on the roster together.

You think Pace had any choice in trading Marshall? The ownership wanted him gone and other teams would have known it and offered squat for him. When your boss tells you to do something you do it, pretty simple. White was the best player on the board at 7.

Why would you be shocked that the Bears traded away a probowl WR for nothing and gambled on a rookie who could be a bust like the majority of rookies are / will be ? That's been the Bears formula for failure for more than a decade now.

BPA, Pace called it months ago and stuck to his gun, i can appreciate that.. Marshall is gone, no sense looking back. We got one of the top rated guys on most boards in White, Lets just hope we go NT, ILB in the following rounds.. Phillips and McKinney would be ideal
