We have Keith locked up for 13 years? Or did you mean 3?

Oops and I forgot about Hossa. We have him for about 10 or so.

Keith, Toews and Kane all signed extensions earlier this year.

Buff signed an extention before the season started.

My guesses:
Ducan is Duncan Keith
Seabs is Seabrook
Hammer is Hjamarsson (sp?)

but I have no idea who serious would be.

I would start by focusing on Burish, Johnsson, and Madden. They will be unrestricted free agents. I could easily see Johnsson and Madden head out. Next would be Eager, Hjalmarsson, Hendry, Ladd, and Niemi. All are restricted free agents at the end of the year. They will definitely re-sign Niemi, but beyond that it is all fair game. Huet will find a new home with a Chicago buyout or assistance of the remaining part of the contract. Sharp could very well be gone as well. For now I would enjoy what we have, because with Seabrook and Buff's contract being addressed next season room will need to be made.

Johnsson was brought in as a throwaway salary, thats why they traded Barker. Hjalmarsson and Niemi will be resigned, im 90% sure about that. I also wouldnt be surprised if Seabrook was traded, but id rather keep him myself.

I agree 100%... especially on the Seabrook trade. Breaking up the 72 pairing would be a shame, but Hjalmarsson is going to be the future I think. Very confident for only being 22! He has had a great teacher in Campbell. Couldn't ask for a better mentor.

That's exactly why I think they may trade Seabrook. While Seabrook wont get the type of money Keith did, im sure he will be asking for a pretty good sum. With Hjamlmarsson being a RFA this year, the Hawks may be able to lock him up for a pretty good price, instead of waiting for him to explode and command big money.

It's not just about enjoying what we have. I am. But I want to turn this into a Dynasty. Why does Detroit get to dominate every year? It's our turn now!

once the season over then u can worry about next year and hopefully thats after a big PARADE

At this point I would be floored if the Hawks don't win the whole thing. They are in excellent, excellent position considering that their potential next opponent will be a 7 or 8 seed.
