AA is back but Hossa is out until the winter classic.

Unreal, man. Winnipeg can't beat anybody in the league except the Hawks.

Obviously the team was doing better without Crawford and Toews

Motte down to the AHL. Hopefully the icetime and likely spots on the PP/PK will do him good.

Likely means that Hossa is ready to return unless they are planning on making another move.

Hino beating out Smaltz and now Motte. lol.

I still wonder if Forslin wasn't the one that would have grown the most over the year. He beat them all out but it seemed that was an age decision and based on having to keep him all year.

Hartman and Hino stepped up though, they deserve it and aren't going anywhere. Of all the fillers they do the most things when not scoring as well.

The team is really

Hartman-Toews-Panik
Pan-AA-88
Hino-?-Hossa
Des-Kruger-?

I think they will look for 2 players at the trade deadline barring more injuries. A top forward and a bottom center. Where is Versteeg? And Richards?

Well hino has a pro season under his belt and is a bit older compared to motte/schmatlz being outra college rookies.

Seems an odd send down now unless some trade or other call up occurs since Kruger is out awhile

Hossa back a bigger boost than Kruger out sad.

But that sucks because there is a tough stretch coming up, where if we don't beat the bad teams we face we are going to have a bad January. If they take care of business and play hard against Jets, Carolina, Avs then this little bumpy part of season won't be so bad. I don't feel optimistic about several upcoming games though.

What's with you always putting Hoss on the third line? Is he not more productive than Panik?

Because you then have 3 lines

Rumor has it that Stan is greasing the trade wheels, though he has sucked this year I think it could be great to try Iginla as an addon to play besides Toews at RW. They need the guy to win the cup for!

Spencer Abbott the latest to get called up...and by the looks of it, he will get a chance with Toews/Hossa. Also, means that Hossa is skating and participating in line drills so that is some good news.

It sure feels like we have hit a wall. Are about to enter a sluggish phase and feint down the standings to a dead heat for 8, 9, 10 with Nashville and another.

I think we will correct course at the last but our current state minus Kruger and the schedule ads up to a bleak stretch.
