Every equal strength and PP line needs net presence. The rub is that only so many guys have the skill and balls to take the punishment to be be that guy.

Go to Bolig, Brunette, Hayes and Morrison. Heck, even throw Bickell in there.

Tell them whoever goes to the net can play. Whoever doesn't- sits.

Why does Marcus Kruger suck?

Should he be playing on the 2nd line or the PP...no. Is he a black hole offensively for the most part...yes. Is he a solid defensive forward who is 21 years old and showing improvement in just about all areas of the game...yes.

Yea, I expect a lot more out of the Blackhawks 5th round picks. How many 5th round picks from 2009 are currently in the NHL? (I breezed through it and counted 2)

I found it interesting that Olesz did not get called up...could be reading too much into it but it makes me think that he will be elsewhere by the end of the summer, one way or another.

Should be a good experience for some of these young guys. Hopefully none of them play though and I wouldn't expect them to.
