Take one of 2 in Philly ... and ... I will dig out my little ceramic Stanley Cup, and think yeah this could really happen (finally -it's been a long long time) ...

that I bought in Thunder Bay ... must have been waiting for a Hawk player to be from there (again) ... bad ceramic Stanley Cup bad (the old ticker can't take it) ...

Edited: damn forgot to add this .. I want like hell to write another year on it. . . (it's one of those Chicago Blackhawk logo ones).

That was a scary game. I truly thought with the momentum we had we would outscore them 2-1 in the 3rd period and win the game 4-1. Oh, well. A win is a win. I'll take it! :)

You know I used to have a "Generational brain cloud" with the whole Chelsea Dagger thing - but you know after seeing some dumb Vancouver Canuck video about it ... I've grown to appreciate its effect. :-D

Edited too ... you know forget the score - being up 2 games to none makes the next 2 damn near must wins. Philly is a good team, but you only need to win by 1 goal -- sure it is as suspenseful as it gets ... but then again ... that's ice hockey. This game was a pitcher's duel ...

Niemi was huge...plain and simple. Eager had a good game too.

I may be late to this show, but what do you guys think about Eager's goal? Softie or no?

Seemed like there was a bit of a screen, but Leighton appeared to be a bit deeper in his net than he should've.

It was just a blown save by Leighton, nice strong shot by Eager. He wasn't paying attention, probably over-thinking the goal he just gave up. He needed to be out a bit farther. If he saved that, it would have been an overtime game.

Good game guys, was a blast to watch it.

Agreed...I don't think Leighton was in a good position...possibly due to not thinking Eager had the angle to make a shot...But regardless, that game was just as exciting as the 11 goal opener.

Agree with Steal, Eager caught him in a bad state of mind. A plus for Chicago but a red flag for Philly fans im sure.
