they fell into a 3-0 hole against Boston because Chris Pronger Convinced the team to give them a a 3-0 lead because he knew they could sweep Boston. They didn't have Gagne. Even if he doesn't score he motivates the Flyers by just being in the line up.

Oh I thought it was because Boston was at full strength and then due to injuries, the Flyers were able to completely rape them the final 4 games?

Cause they wanted to play 3 extra games so they could be more tired and have a tougher time beating the Hawks after they let the Hawks win the first 2.
