Oh, I already think he's a better backup than Clevenger. More experience, better defensive stats, better offensive approach. Clevenger needs to go back to Iowa next year and finish developing.

And I say this as Chapman comes in to replace him. So... 2 strong starts for Rusin in 3 so far.

Chapman's looked a lot better at the MLB level than he did in the minors so far... but it has only been 2 innings coming into today so far. Both were against the Nats in that nasty series, though..... Recker and Rizzo aren't helping him here.
