Bring some newspaper to put on the floor under your feet, it stops the cold from transferring to your feet. Cheapest and easiest way to keep your feet warm. Once your feet are cold you're f'd

I've only been to preseason games in the new soldier field, but I recall back in the old stadium, the only way to stay warm was to be seated. The minute anyone stood the wind would swirl right through that space and you'd get a lot of yelling and screaming for the idiot to sit down.
The last cold game I saw were the Barry Sanders era lions coming in and it was 0 degrees at kickoff. I'd say take whatever you can to keep warm. Don't let your feet get cold (I hate when I can't feel the ground beneath me).

Well I survived. It was an AWESOME experience. Great people all around us. Frozen beers. Kicked the shit outta DallASS. Really couldn't have hoped for a better time. The only thing that sucked was the line at the Team Shop. Wasn't waiting in that bullshit.
Thanks to all for the advice on keeping warm. Final tally was 7 layers on top. 4 on bottom. 2 pairs of socks. 2 pairs of gloves. Hand and toe warmers. Scarf used as face shield.

Not really. One thing I did notice (and it might have been because of the weather) was how QUIET the crowd was when Bears D was on the field. My brother and I were actually laughing because they even had to play a little deal on the video screen explaining that noise disrupts the opposing O. I have been to quite a few stadiums and this was by FAR the quietest one I have ever been to, NFL or college. Kinda disappointing that the 4th Phase isn't helping out for shit.
