Dis ain't BBQ, but if you feel like trying something slightly different...

Do that custom shake and bake type deal to bread and bake your chicken breast OR instead of using regular breadcrumbs, use Panko and instead of baking, do a quick fry. Then take the result of either of those two and top it with katsu sauce. It functions like BBQ sauce, but has a sweeter flavor to it.

This is katsu sauce

I have been trying different ideas but something easy I have been reverting to alot is just getting a BBQ flavor on the chicken.... I rub both sides with salt/pepper/Paprika/Garlic Powder and then I brush a little bit of BBQ sauce on top of the chicken breast and bake it in the oven.

Comes out good and I add some Sweet Baby Rays to the plate to dip the chicken in.

Anyone got any advice on making a regular boneless, skinless chicken breast into a BBQ flavor?

Stay away from SBR's sauce if you don't want to get diabeetus.

SBR is so good though...:(

If i'm not making my own sauce from vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, tomato paste, mustard, salt and pepper and maybe some liquid smoke, I use Garland Jacks.

Used to use SBR, but i permabanned HFCS from my kitchen.

What kind of flavor do you get out of Garland Jacks? Never heard of it.

Also, if I was feeling a more smokey flavored BBQ sauce, what should I go with?

So I cut up some chicken breast into chunks and made this rice noodle stir fry.

About a pound of chicken
Garlic powder
Fresh lime juice
Rice noodles
Carrots chopped
Peas
Onion
Soy sauce

I sautéed the chicken lime and garlic. Let the rice noodles soak for about 15 minutes. Cooked the vegetables and soy sauce in a large pan. Stirred in the noodles. Played the noodles and vegetables and served the chicken on top.

My daughter was like "this is good dad, tastes like romen noodles"

:(

Monk's daughter is a classy lady.... don't judge her...
I'm actually envious. "Real ramen" from a Japanese place...whole different thing than that instant junk. It is freaking delicious.
