Cago,

Well, yeah...but let me start with a weird question, but related to yours. Do you like going to dog track? If so, they have one on Gandy Blvd (St.Pete) that's like a half hour from Tarpon Springs(I think that's where you stay, right?).

Anyways, they have an all you can eat buffet there, I know that sounds funny, a buffet at the dog track LOL, but man, it's awesome food and something fun to do. Best buffet around here, including Shephards.

Best prime rib I've ever had.

Best scallops I've ever had.

King crab legs, grouper a couple different ways, on and on and on.

Excellent food, and its nice as hell in there. The restaurant is stadium seating like a movie theater and you watch the dogs race as you eat through huge glass windows. They have a bar in the restaurant also, and you can place your bets right there, too. $25 bucks, can't beat it man. They only do the all you can eat on Fridays, and Saturdays, If you want to go, call and make a reservation by Wednesday.

Oh, and if you play poker, they have a nice poker room that's 24 hours on the weekends. Look it up online if you want, google Derby Lane St.Pete.

If it involves gambling and a buffet I am usually 100% in, but I am going down there with my girl so I don't think that will be something she would want to do haha. I know we will probably hit up Lucky Dill for some lunch one day and head into Tarpon to get dinner another.

I know exactly where you're talking about. I always take the Gandy bridge when I'm over there to avoid malfunction junction. From there hop on the crosstown and get on I-4 just before Hard Rock. It's fucking awesome, saves so much time / frustration. Anyways, I'll have to stop in there sometime and eat on my way through.

Anybody ever have their dog on a barf (bone and raw food) diet? I had my boxer on it for a while but it got too expensive. He loved all the raw chicken.

Kind of late in the season for this, but I enjoy a grilled lemon/butter chicken.

Bone-in/skin-on chicken breasts (however many needed)
Roughly equal parts melted butter and lemon juice (sometimes reduce that to 2 parts butter to 1.5 parts lemon if the juice is more concentrated than usual [varies by brand or if it's fresh])
Fresh ground black pepper
Marjoram (it's a spice, look it up fucktards)
Rosemary
4-5 large cloves of garlic (a clove is the segments, not the entire bulb dipshits), minced
2-3 medium sized white or yellow onions, also minced

Melt the butter in the microwave (usually 1 stick [or two cups]). Once melted incorporate the lemon juice. Add spices to mixture (apx. 2 tsp each of marjoram and black pepper, 1 tsp of rosemary). Incorporate the minced onions and garlic. Put entire mixture into a large ziplock bag with the defrosted chicken breasts and let sit in the fridge overnight (or at a minimum 3 hours).

Throw that shit on the grill on medium-high heat and ladle some of the marinade on top of each breast (the goal here is to get some of the sugars in the lemon juice and that seeped out of the onion to caramelize slightly on the chicken [not quite a glaze, but similar idea]). Whenever you turn the chicken repeat the ladling of marinade. Not sure about cooking time because it's really hard to guess with different grills and varying thickness of breasts; but it shouldn't be more than 10-12 minutes. Serve and salt to taste. I generally do some kind of fingerling potato in olive oil on the grill or home-fries and sweet corn to go with this, but that's really just my preference.

That sounds good tj. Gonna give it a whirl. I make lemon chicken quite a bit and this sounds like a nice variation.

Make sure the marinade is cooked all the way if its from the bag of raw chicken
