shopping in your underwear with 2 day prime is the best. online return policy is pretty much zero hassle as well.

I remember back in duh day some girl was attempting to return a console at Gamestop I think it was at Stratford Square and she got in a huge shouting and pushing match with the manager, lol. It got so bad the manager in his rage knocked the returned console from the counter to the ground. This was right before the days of iphone/android 4g connectivity. If it had happened now it be all over social. It was that good.

I'm only 42 but I miss simpler, less busy times. Sure, we've never been more "efficient" but at what cost? Our mental health? Our physical health? Our relationships with our own local community suffers bc we fill our heads with the news feeds of lands faraway. We're not supposed to know about the corruption and travesty of tiny counties in rural South Carolina. It's not good. Humanity will not end well.

Back to the China thread sponsored by DA Fozzybear. Whats up with some China Tech...

Speaking of maps. Me Mi Band 7 Pro has these fucking green lines on it when ya run outside... paired with the Mi fitness app something magical happens.

Note: the Mi band 7 on the left the mi band 7 pro on da right. Im def not putting in the work to Photoshop the non pro band out.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro

s-l1200.jpg

So Ive been using the Xiaomi Mi 7 band Pro for weeks now.. in conjunction with the MI Fitness App.

Most of my workout activities have been tracked. The Majority of its used to track my treadmill sessions. Sometimes I use it when i do other light activities.. more out of curiosity.. just seeing how it tracks those things. I forgot about the watch during multiple treadmill sessions at the start, but now its part of my routine.

You can auto sync or manually sync your data with the Mi fitness app to keep track.

What Ive noticed on the treadmill.. Distance is off, but its close to the machine. Maybe the watch is correct and the treadmill is out of calibration?? The watch does have dual band GNSS sensor, which helps with accuracy.. however, im not sure it benefits from that while inside on a treadmill. Regardless, after a treadmill session when ending the workout you can calibrate the distance to match another number.

The added dual band GNSS sensor with support for GPS, QZSS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS positioning also lets you track runs without needing your paired phone. However, my phone is with me.

Some other function/specs

  • Display: 1.64" color AMOLED, 280 x 456 pixel color screen, 326ppi pixel density, 500 nits peak brightness, 2.5D curved glass
  • Straps: Detachable silicon straps, 22mm width, 130-205mm adjustable length
  • Features: 5ATM rating, Real-time heart rate monitor, 24/7 Blood Oxygen level monitor, Sleep tracking, Stress monitoring, Sports tracking, VO2 Max, Step Counter, Meditation, Smart Notifications, Idle Alert, Drink Reminder, Phone Finder, Weather Forecast, Music and Camera Control, Amazon Alexa voice assistant
  • Sports Modes: Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Outdoor Walk, Indoor Walk, Outdoor Cycle, Indoor Cycle, Strength Training, Football, Yoga and Cricket (100+ more in Mi Fitness app)
  • Sensors: PPG optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, Rotor Vibration Motor
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth LE 5.2, dual-band GNSS, Compatible with Android 6+ and iOS 12+
  • Battery: 235 mAh
  • Colors: Black, Ivory
  • Dimensions: 44.7 x 28.8 x 11 mm
  • Weight: 20.5 grams
Ive been having issues with sleep again. Well I gotz it better for like a week and a half but now its back to my shit normal again.
On day 68 of me running program, i go to bed early and try to get 7-10 hours of sleep, right.. i wake up a few hours later and its 11 pm.. cant fall back asleep.. feel like getting a run in just in case im too tired that day and weasel me way out of me schedule.. aint me off day jyall.. however its too late to get the treadmill going.. a 6'9 690 pound guy pounding on a belt isnt quiet.. I decide to venture out into the world with me Mi band 7 pro and to make that maiden voyage.

I didnt set a pace on the watch you can get reminders or set a virtual pacer.. highest pace time one can set is 10 minutes though... I wanted to see how well the dual band was... ive driven my car on a route and knew the exact distance and the watch matched that. it left green lines on the screen after the workout was over.. painting a path i ran.. when you sync the mi app with it, it pulls up a map and drops those lines on the route you just ran.. was nice.

idk how accurate the sensors are for everything else.. im sure certain watches are better at this and that.. or maybe they are all flawed.. i know if you want a better hr monitor.. a watch generally isnt the recommend.. rather a chest strap..

IDk how it tracks calories.... seems to be a total and not just active.. seems like its calculating normal calories burned plus activities.. idk how i feel about that.. not like any device really knows anyway.. maybe they could ballpark it, but everything is doing just that... ballparking

As a watch i guess its okay, cause it tells ya the time... but i dont wear it as such.. i downloaded a few different watch faces, but i only use it during fitness. so i cant comment on battery life, or sleep monitoring either.. i turn it on before my sessions and off after i sync me data... after you turn it off the only way to turn it on is by connecting the magnetic power cord.. annoying but not a deal breaker

My only complaint is no lte option, would be nice to swap my sim card and put it in the watch and have options of downloading certain apps for music..

Also, running in a hoodie at midnight in a white dominate burb as a mixed breed may not be recommended.. however.. wearing a mi band pro 7 may help defuse any potential situations... it'll show officers the youre serious about fitness... that AND SOME NEON MIZUNOS..

I paid less than western retail, but fer 89 bucks new in da west on amazon.. i say it does what it needs to at a basic level.... if you need something more advance.. well go get that...howev, another quality Xiaomi product and banging piece of china tech...

Using a map book was the most difficult thing ever. How did we ever manage?

The problem is we are so reliant on tech that we don't learn or remember as much b/c we'll just "google it." And as quickly as the answer or route comes, it's gone. I'm 100% guilty. I still map my way to places with the excuse "maybe there is a better route." It just is what it is.

So I can use my own underwear, or would I have to use yours?

Been a minute china thread. i dig yo tires china.

So, i needed 4 new tires.... 15". Was gonna put some more of those japanese toyos tires on me japanese car, about 80-85 a piece plus fittin n shit iirc.. However, I see this sus looking fly by night tire shop that use to be a 4x4 shop, advertising 4 tires and 4 rims for roughly 100 dolla more than 4 new tires would have costed from a chain shop...

I wanted 17s that cost a lil more but dat guy sold the ones i wanted a few hours before i gotz there. I ended up with 16s...

Sure the rims aint BBS.. they OZ...... but still, 450 for 4 new tires and mint looking rims with fitting, balance and disposal included.. i guess the drawback for some would be that the tires are chinese... i rock china shit, so i was down with da sickness. brand is called goodride and i gotta say, its been a nice smooth good ride.

chop shop deal rims below................. now imma have to buy chinese coilovers to make up for that inch and lower me 22 year old corolla. yeah me sound system and rims r worth more than me car.. this is the way... i should have asked those tire shop fucks what they were really selling

The greatest china thread, brought to you by da spaz.. been a minute self.. thought wed update me diary.

him been so long i swear 3-4 of me self talk pages are missing.. owell forgot what i talked about

thought about upgrading me system to am5 but gonna hold off fer now... still got my itx open frame build emulation station to build in da meantime and been looking at shit in da china to possibly use in a couple of empty cases i gotz to maybe flip when i get bored..

finally ordered that open frame chassis. me quote fer shipping out da warehouse isnt bad at all.. if good quality may buy a few to sell. about 53 ish on da amazon for itx.. even more $ more for the bigger ones.. $12 from china regardless the size. this will do for now and will easily hide behind me ultrawide monitor next to da hidden ps4 slim.. still wanna build a custom case in da future.. just depends on what behind me monitor second rig i eventually want to settle on.. def itx or smaller

its that open frame from above

e-rack-water-cooling-computer-gabinete-gaming-jpg_-jpg.30423

Been seeing SFX modular PSUs pop up in da china for cheap the last year or so. So i ordered one to sus out.

Similar to the chinese ones on aliexpress for 70-100. I paid $30.. there was a 450w for 20. 450w would do for a low tdp itx build buts i got a bigger one just in case of a hungry gpu in an open case setting. given how much SFX psus can go for i may buy a few to flip if decent or build a few rigs to sell.. have a few cases in the garage.. one that could fit an xl atx dual x99 china build.. maybe do like a dual xeon build totalling 40 core/ 80 threads..anywho da sfx will go on the frame above. the frame above will fit a standard atx psu iirc, but wanted to sus out da chinas rebranded modular sfx ppl paying 100-200 for

Sfbfd77c6451a404797aad5e907c2cb1c2.jpg

ordered a bunch of no branded cheap accessories too.. too many to list.. nothing note worthy.. basically entire pc minus the mobo and cpu will be sourced from da china.. have looked at other itx boards and cpus to source from the china.. but gonna roll with the i7 7700T and b150 fer now.

def some china b450/550itx and china ryzen deals to be had though.. x99 deals on crazy core counts if one wanted that. 16 18 20 core xeons for 40 dolla i could get a e5-2697v4 18 core / 36 thread @ 2.3 - 3.6 ghz turbo.. think its 55-60 on aliexpress. cheap x99 mobo and a decent lil editing rig that could still game eh...

oh one note worthy item i passed on was some drive bay speakers.. sound quality is shit or i would have got some.. current main rig doesnt have drive bays but me corsair 750d airflow in da garage has 3.. if i build me some dual x99 shit it would have been sweet to add some if they sounded okay... they were $5.

til nexx time self.. buy china, if its by da china..

Da china brought to you by da spaz..

2 china posts in a day.. damn i aint got no life

Just thought id tell meself one mo thing before letting this thread drift away for awhile.

tempted to pawn off me itx emulation build for this..

Found a good deal productivity wise thatll still be able to game.. decent P2P

From my avenues in china the deal is for a Xeon e5 2695V4 18 core/ 36 thread @ 2.1 to 3.3 turbo. Motherboard and ram. $130 total for 32gb ddr4 and $160 total if you wants 64gb.. they sale the same package on ali for $222 64gb and $250 64gb on da bay.

if you wanna partake in some china p2p building im just letting you know which x99 mobo is one of the better ones if not best budget x99 china board out there... it is the machinist x99 max pro below.

dis board is ddr4 quad channel. the vrm temps are okay on higher tdp chips @ 145w.. so the 120 watt 2695v4 should be a breeze to keep cool. thats def a thing to look out for with some of the chinese mobo.. vrm cooling.. depending on use case.. its good to figure out which board fits your needs power wise so you dont burn shit down..

you could always get a higher clock and lower core count cpu if its more about gaming and less about productivity such as editing the 4ks n shit. something like the e5 1680v4 8core/16 thread @ 3.4 - 4.0 ghz or da E5 1650v4 6 core / 12 thread @ 3.6 - 4.0 ghz. ive had v1 v2 and v3 of the 1650v in da past.. decent chip... the v4 is a ryzen 3600 equivalent.. 3600 slighty better in areas according to synthetics but = enough performance wise .. but considering the cost the e5 1650v4 def greater... the e5 1650v4 is about 20 dolla on aliexpress... yeah da P2P.
