Even if I only got it for the Hawks season it's more than a year of ESPN+ and a VPN.

That's absolutely the way to go. The economics of those numbers don't work out because they want to milk fans for the price over the year when we'd unsubscribe for off months. 300 for the year is 8.33 a month per team. So they are hard hedging toward yearly subs. It's ridiculous. Anyone who doesn't want all theee teams are going to be taken up the ass.

And they, and a lot of other networks and providers, wonder why piracy is on the rise.

Thankfully here the only blackout I get is for the Kraken because they are carried by Root sports which is part of the cable/satellite/streaming packages. But even so you'd think they would learn and realize that they stand to make money if fans can see the games and pull in advertising revenue, as opposed to blacking the game out and having piracy happen, which garners them no revenue.

The social media posts telling people to switch providers are hilarious. Comment threads are pure gold.

Watching CHSN these days is really kind of entertaining as they keep bringing me back to the 70's. Gotta love those commercials. Too bad Bob Luce is dead and gone....he'd fit right in at CHSN. I mean nirvana would be right there for them if Ben's Auto Sales ever bought some time.

Some of the non sports programming they have to fill time is straight cable access. I almost love it

I just tried to actually find the channel on Fubo to watch Flus bumble over his own words and it’s nowhere to be seen. I can find TUDN Extra 10, The Boat Show channel, and Bein Sports 11, but nothing for CHSN. 🤣

Xfinity’s Ultimate tier will cost customers an additional $20 per month. Customers had been receiving a monthly credit of $8.85 to offset the loss of NBC Sports Chicago, which went off the air Sept. 30.
