Bottom of the order is taking a few more pitches than their teammates did.

Huh. None of those were strikes except the couple he fouled off.

Got to love when an ump completely swings a key at bat in a game.

Yeah the ump took the bat out of DeJesus's hand. If a guy with Cueto's stuff is going to get that call consistently, the Cubs are better off just running up his pitch count to hopeful not face Marshall/Chapman.

I doubt Raley throws shutout ball forever so I guess they should try to score next inning.

Only 2 runs given up, that's pretty good all things considered.

Good AB by Jackson again, but struck out on seven pitches. That pitch should've been hittable though, timing off.

Jackson is gonna bust so bad he'll make C-Patt look like a HOFer.

Gotta give him some more time, the fact that he takes so many pitches and works so many deep counts is a positive.

Raley out with a quality start, just barely.

Cubs have 50 games left, and their elimination number is 27. 32 in the wild card chase.

Should start a countdown.

C-Pat was also a lot higher regarded as a prospect, but he was a completely different case from BJax. Corey had way more tools especially speed than BJax, but BJax has a few things working in his favor. In terms of prospect status, BJax barely broke as a top 50 prospect whereas C-Pat was the number 3 and 2 rated prospect in all of baseball.

Nice to know that the big strike zone only is for team this afternoon. The pitch before on the Ludwick HR looks to be as close to the called strikes on DeJesus.View attachment 863
