Exactly 23-0 in a preseason game where a victory really doesn’t mean much. I didn’t want to see Justin out there after the shit I saw that was out there playing…I do not want to see him takes hits like he did yesterday in a preseason game. After his first series I was ready for him to take a seat. I don’t nt need to see him against 3rd stringers.
It was his own fault he got hit....it had nothing to do with 3rd stringers

He IS a rookie and does need to play to learn. Of course he needs to be out there.

Lots of borrowed tickets in the preseason as well.If a player like Dalton has stunk it up for a while or coach makes a pussbag call like kneeling with 1:30 left before half then yeah.

Comes across to me like a threat to new players (play great or we hate you), while they're are still simply practicing the offense and playing without supporting cast of starters (in some cases w/ guys who won't make the team), and with vanilla practice playcalls.

I agree. He needs to play with the guys he will be playing with during the regular season. Nagy needs to stop the nonsense that he isn’t playing this senior can’t beat out Dalton. In my opinion he has outplayed Dalton already and needs live reps with only the starters and reserves. Not players that will be on the practice squad or out of the NFL in 2 weeks
The issue is most of the starters aren't playing anyway but also if Dalton is our starter he has to get some 1st team reps. So where exactly is fields supposed to get reps?
We all know the truth. Dalton isn’t really our “starter” now is he? And f he truly is Justin still needs to be treated as a starter and not be playing in a fourth quarter of a preseason game where it was 41-6 to start the quarter. It’s just my opinion. I hope they don’t play him next week in the 2nd half.
