I agree. He needs to play with the guys he will be playing with during the regular season. Nagy needs to stop the nonsense that he isn’t playing this senior can’t beat out Dalton. In my opinion he has outplayed Dalton already and needs live reps with only the starters and reserves. Not players that will be on the practice squad or out of the NFL in 2 weeks
Dalton is starting week 1. Before they knew they could get Fields they wanted Dalton and to make it happen they promised Dalton the starting spot. I don't think they are going back on it.

Its the same concept as complaining.

People here feel free to complain...a lot....

Booing is just a more immediate way to do it.

If you think any type of booing your own players is off limits why do you think you deserve to complain about them on the internet...

Get the fuck out of here with this weak ass shit.
Is the only way of doing it in a stadium.
People are just complaining and they have all the right to do it.

Fuck that promise shit……promises are made to be broken. I would tell Dalton right now he isn’t the starter and could sleep the sleep of the righteous.

Indeed, but in a preseason game it makes no sense to me, but feel free to do it if you feel you must.

I wasn’t at the game. Can’t be at any game.
But it’s the same principle, you’re paying to be entertained, if they fail to deliver you complain, that’s it. To me they were booing the entire team

About promises……I remember telling my fiancé I couldn’t marry her and leaving the morning of my wedding because I knew in my heart of hearts it was the right thing to do and 25 years later it was absolutely the right thing to do. She is very happy with her husband and kids I am extremely happy with my wife and kids. Hell we are even friends

It makes perfect sense. It turns up the heat on management. There are numerous articles about Bear fans booing. You think management likes that look? Makes them look really bad and that's really the only thing they care about.
"But it's only preseason."
I don't, for one instant, think a guy isn't going to run head first into a wall if that's what he's done for the last month and a half. These games aren't even close. They're sloppy, they're lazy, it's just unmitigated garbage that can't be fixed just because now you're playing in the regular season. It's time to boo. It's PAST time to boo.

He “IS” a rookie who is our franchise quarterback…..
He needs to play and learn with the starters and some of the reserves…not players that will not be on this team in 2 weeks. Nothing he did yesterday was good for him or the team in my opinion. He should have played the second quarter and started 1 series after halftime….again in my opinion.
Just couldn’t disagree more. He’s doesn’t only need to practice with the “1s” to learn.

That doesn’t mean I don’t want him with the ones. But those are still live defenses he is seeing. He’s still learning.

Dalton's WR scored a TD for him...maybe the booing worked...

If want to hear cheers instead of boos; perform

I remember fans booing during regular season games but this was the first I recall at a preseason game. I’m sure I could be wrong. It’s absolutely their right to do it though.

This.

You got like 40k people sitting in humid ass weather that feels about 100 degrees and they are gonna get a bit cranky.

Then you combine that with the shitty performance on both sides of the field and you get boo's.

Shit, I would be upset if they didn't boo. Ownership should be ashamed of yesterdays performance even if it was preseason.

Bwahahahahaha. That I could see. I was at one of the family nights but I can’t remember if Rex was “our quarterback” but there was a packer fan there that wearing a Favre jersey and he sold it to a fan for $20 and they ripped it up right on the spot.

There wasn’t close to 40000 people there. Maybe 25000. And there were a lot of Buffalo jerseys there along with a lot of #10s. I did see a whole lot of Fields jerseys though, surprisingly not 1 Andy Dalton jersey

Yea, more like 25k, but I did see a ton of people not having their butts in the seats and just walking around similar to a game at wrigley.

Can't blame them, it felt like shit sitting out there. I'd rather be in single degree weather than sit in that shit.

Also, I wore my foles jersey

I was in my seat the majority of the game but I’m a summer person and I love the heat and humidity more than the cold.

Nicely played by that guy. I've spent $20 on much worse things than that.

Yeah, I was surprised the packer fan gave in so easy.

I’ve been watching football religiously for 40 years. You bunch of cranks are the first fans I’ve ever seen boo a guy in a preseason game. Geez.
Dude, they booed the team when they played the Chargers last year....when they were WINNING.

Its what the fanbase does. Get off your high horse.
