I really don't understand why Freeman rushed to sign that extension. If Irish win national championship that could raise his value even higher.
Irish aren’t winning it all though

He's probably my first choice at this point.

BJ has an absolutely perfect situation, it would not surprise me if he looks like shit wherever he goes next. He's not bringing the lions offense with him.

Remember they looked like shit before him. Anthony Lynn had that job first.

I don’t want Monken, he has the easiest job in the NFL, and still likes to go away from Henry in the redzone. Just look at him do you see a team following him? No he will be like that Giants hire a few years back Pat Schumer.
Have you ever analyzed how he calls games? He’s been awesome for several years now. Much longer record of success than Johnson.

Arthur Smith is my guess. I think they want a former head coach and Vrabel is too smart to come here

If that is the case, I am legit all in on Pete Carroll

Also, I highly endorse the candidacy of Todd Monken. He ironed out a lot of wrinkles in Lamaar's passing game and believe he can save Caleb Williams and the Chicago rushing attack.

Johnson runs a great offense, but he is in hot demand and probably won't have the heart to leave Detroit for a division rival.

I didn’t realize Pete had his two sons on his staff. One is OC at Washington now and the other is on Carolina’s staff. Don’t know how good they are but maybe he brings them along? 🤷‍♂️

That didnt change the talent.

playcalling matters but the talent was there, and also that first year penis sewage played like shit and ragnow was hurt.

These past two years he's had arguably the most loaded offense in the NFL, particularly this year now that the dumb bust from bama looks like a good #2.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by this as well. I would have figured, and still have my doubts, that he'd go to a divisional rival.

That said, I wouldn't want to be in a division with Reid, Payton, and Harbaugh even more. The Pats would probably be the best success path for him unless DET and MIN collapse somehow.

Why would a coach at the end of the day care about this?

You go where you have the best potential to succeed, not to hurt other peoples feelings.

I think you’re discrediting him a bit too much. Goff was thrown in that deal as an afterthought and now he’s playing very well. Yes they have talent. But I think he’s still a big part of their success

Why would he care?? Because he has choices dude. That's why.

Y'all act like he's not a person like you and me, who doesn't have certain feelings about where you work or how you conduct career.

Goff was always good, he was traded because he couldnt finish in the playoffs.

Bears fans act like he never threw for 4.5k multiple times and went to multiple pro bowls.

I am not discrediting him, I'm stating facts that he's in the perfect situation. He doesnt even have to lead that offense because Dan Campbell is the best motivator in the NFL.

Again, why would he care about hurting his former teams feelings if he believes the bears are the best chance to succeed?

That could be the patriots, or the jags for him, but I doubt hurting feelings matters to him over winning.

Go look at 21 vs 22 Goff

Bill Belichik vibes. I like Carrol but not too sure i like when these older coaches are giving their kids jobs that haven't earned their stripes elsewhere first.

Because it might be weird? And his time in DET has propelled him to this hot commodity. And maybe being a coach is a lot about "who you know" and having good connections? I'm just saying it might be a factor. Who knows how much though.

Is this really that hard to understand. Or are you just normally incapable of imagining something outside your own interest or point of view?
