The Raiders just wisely upped their stock. They can’t sell their roster but now they can sell control over it. For Vrabel and Johnson that will be a huge positive.

Goff was always good, he was traded because he couldnt finish in the playoffs.

Bears fans act like he never threw for 4.5k multiple times and went to multiple pro bowls.

I am not discrediting him, I'm stating facts that he's in the perfect situation. He doesnt even have to lead that offense because Dan Campbell is the best motivator in the NFL.

He made it to a super bowl so he has finished in the playoffs.

Must be a situation where enough candidates have said we want our GM or we're not interested so they got rid of him. Or maybe he just wasn't a good fit in the building, idk. Raiders are a terrible destination. If they didn't realize that they also should probably fire the GM by the time they fired Pierce, it just goes to show how lost they are... but yea, definitely fired him cause they finally realized they'd not generate the interest otherwise.
