The same here, been UGA fan since 1984 my kid and daughter-in-law, both are UGA grads. Monken is known for adaptability, and organized disciplinarian who won't tolerate bs. Not sure McCaskey's would be able to tolerate a man who will say what on his mind..
I think Monken would be a very good coach. I don’t think there would be any issues between him and the McCaskeys. Shore up a the OL and draft an awesome RB like Devin Neal, that offense would be in business.

Maybe he can coach him to have a football bounce off his helmet and into an opposing teams WRs hands for a TD in a devastating NFCC choke job loss.
it takes a long time to get the bear out of a player, he can"t work miracles.................

No, you're so forgettable i had to double check if you're the "deflect to Fields" guy since you're the only poster here who completely ignores I wanted them to draft a QB to replace Fields but keep on with whatever it is youre doing here. Sorry Caleb is QB4. There should be some decent youtube vids on how to cope.

so you do remember me. All you have to do is not reply to me and I go away. I don’t even read your posts because they are just 2005 troll attempts.

If a coach has no issues with the mccaskeys that should be your first red flag.

Hard to pick now, too many variables. how long does Stafford play? how long does Goff play? Etc etc.
Trade or not, you have to love what BJ has accomplished. While everyone is looking for fruit off the McVay tree, the most fertile ground appears to be in Johnson's backyard. If McVay though he could get this out of Goff, that trade never happens.

He’s legit. Has been for way longer than Johnson.

Only question is if he would be a good HC. We already know he’s a fantastic OC. But that uncertainty applies to Johnson, as well.
He turned a winless USM program around in three seasons before leaving for the Bucs, so he has led a program in the recent past.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by this as well. I would have figured, and still have my doubts, that he'd go to a divisional rival.

That said, I wouldn't want to be in a division with Reid, Payton, and Harbaugh even more. The Pats would probably be the best success path for him unless DET and MIN collapse somehow.
If we were talking simply about wanting to avoid the strong NFC north, that would be one thing. But why does anyone think that a coach getting his first head coaching gig would want to avoid a division rival of the team where he is an assistant? Why? What would be bad we’re going to arrival or what would he gain by avoiding them?

Fans have this rivalry thing going. Coaches are going to go to the situation that works for them. They’re not gonna care one iota if it’s arrival of another team, they coached.

Draft one? There's this thing called the draft, I know CCS has trouble understanding that.
I think CCS understands that you’re not getting a top quarterback drafting eighth.
