Pete seems like he’d be a Raiders type coach. Idk why but just seems like a fit.

Pete Carroll may well be dead before Patrick Mahomes & Justin Herbert retire, so I can’t imagine a move to the AFC West would be a good idea for him.Pete seems like he’d be a Raiders type coach. Idk why but just seems like a fit.
You rooting for a team is like the kiss of death, so please don't root for the Lions. Cheer up bud, maybe in 20 more years the Bears will be relevant again.Nice deflection bud. Enjoy it. You'll be like the Packers were all those years. Those 14-2 seasons and then promptly choking it all away. It's too bad too if you weren't such an obnoxious prick I might actually find it in me to root for the Lions. But alas Jared Goff is your QB.
I mean if anyone could do it, it might be him.Pete Carroll may well be dead before Patrick Mahomes & Justin Herbert retire, so I can’t imagine a move to the AFC West would be a good idea for him.
was this you in 2008? oh that's right, you were a Bears fan until like 2 years ago.You rooting for a team is like the kiss of death, so please don't root for the Lions. Cheer up bud, maybe in 20 more years the Bears will be relevant again.
What year is it now?was this you in 2008? oh that's right, you were a Bears fan until like 2 years ago.
you're every bit as bad as those Packer fan trolls that infected CBMB/CCS for years. except they weren't fair weather and their team actually won Super Bowls.

I expect to see many examples on how the bears having a dozen people in their interviews is normal. It is. That’s surprising to you?
What is it that makes you think every other team is simply doing a one on one interview with a general manager and a candidate?
You cheer for the Bears and the Lions were irrelevant for half a centuryYou rooting for a team is like the kiss of death, so please don't root for the Lions. Cheer up bud, maybe in 20 more years the Bears will be relevant again.

Trade or not, you have to love what BJ has accomplished. While everyone is looking for fruit off the McVay tree the most fertile ground appears to be in Johnson's backyard. If McVay though he could get this out of Goff, that trade never happens.
If I were BJ, who is the opposite of desperate here, I'd tell the Bear to pick 3 or 4 people for the zoom and be open to a call back with follow up questions once they played the meeting for the entire class. In his position, I'd be interviewing those above me as much as they're interviewing me and don't need company politics in that mix. The Bear way is as ridiculous as ever and may actually be getting worse under Warren. Hope I'm wrong.

This is a thread about head coaching hires. Please don't derail another thread. Stay on topic or **** off.
People are thinking way too hard about the wide net. It's obvious that people are naturally going to have a list of front-runners. If they want to do more for whatever reason, who gives a shit. Bears aren't the first to do it.Russini says it's all a smokescreen and the Bears top two are and have been Ben Johnson and Mike Vrabel.
